DEWALT Bluetooth ToughSystem Portable Radio and Charger

I have had this specific product going on 2 years now. Are you currently looking at the reviews right now and wondering whether to buy this product or not? Well, go no further! My review is all you need. I received this a Christmas gift just loved it right off hand simply because it said “ DeWalt”. However, it wasn't until I actually got to use the radio to its full extent till o realized I had something really good in my hands. You want a robust crystal clear sound? Pick this radio! Not only does it offer such a clear sound quality to it but it also offered cutting edge speakers with a thumpa bumpa. You have a simple option of either listening to a local am/pm station OR tune in to the blue tooth setting and play whatever song you want while you browse for even more Dewalt products.

This radio is the best! Not only do I take it to every jobsite I go to, but it comes with me on every camping trip and to every family BBQ. Pairs nice with the DeWalt cooler

Nice unit, The only thing that should be fixed is the battery holder, I doesn't hold the battery properly, You have to keep pushing the battery in, should have a lock on it. Also the temperature set, should be lower,

I bought this radio 5 years ago and its still going strong! Works great people comment on how good it sounds and the bluetooth function works great!

This radio / charger is go good I bought a second one for my son to work with !!! He has the Tough Toolbox system so snaps in do nicely !!

Got this back in December, running great, then the first rain fall it was in, not even that much rain, 3 months later, ruined the radio. It no longer runs off battery and it shorts out with the 120V plug in sometimes. I love this radio with the sound but I'm very disappointed about the fact that it says its water resistant but the water goes right through all the rubber seals. :'(

as it is described as being part of the toughsystem it should lock onto the rack bars instead of being loose in the rack.

Proud DeWalt customer for 20yrs. Radio sound and features are outstanding. However Two big issues I've had are 1: the battery only slides in, doesn't clip into it like any other DeWalt tool. So if you are at all moving this radio around during the day or setting it down vertically the battery falls of it's connection. A huge pain in the neck for me. 2: the little rubber feet on the bottom are very cheap and wear off quickly so all that's left is a screw and rubber remnants.

Had this over a year and it works ok for back ground noise but Bluetooth definitely isn't close to 100' closer to 25' and sound on max volume isn't loud enough to hear across sight avenues on max radio reception isn't great. Would work good in a small shop not on a work sight. Battery doesn't click in like tools do relies on “sponge” to keep battery tight so if bumped the right way the battery disconnects. Definitely not worth the $$$

First of all I've been in the carpentry business for 30 + years and am a Huge Dewat Fan with❗️ I've had this tough system radio for two years and that is what it is. The sound is Great but that is where it stops! The battery will dislodge if you turn the box up, up to three hours to charge a 4 ah battery, NO CLOCK, the latching on compartments broke early on, one way to pack the cord back in the compartment, changing the station is multiple steps. All in all OVER PRICED for just a sound box!
