Lots of lower star reviews complaining about the pressure even though it says 550psi. This pressure washer is amazing depending on your application. I use it for cleaning out condenser and evaporator coils at work (I'm an HVAC tech) and for spraying off the inside of my fishing boat. The hose quick connect is plastic being to only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. This is a great little low pressure pressure washer.
Bought this for light cleaning (windows, driveways, etc) It worked on the driveway (see attached photo), brick, muddy bike and windows. But after having for a week, the plastic, quick-connect adapter broke at the narrowest point (see attached photo). Fortunately a metal, double-female water hose adapter will allow me to continue the tool. I'm disappointed that DeWALT would choose brittle plastic for a vital part.
I bought this for light cleaning applications and worked as expected for a short while. I have been very careful not to damage the plastic quick connect adapter. However, after only a few uses, the plastic connect adapter broke right where it screws onto the tool. I always use DeWALT tools but expected more durability than this tool provided!
Not great. This thing chews through batteries at an insane speed, and it's not that powerful. For the kinds of things it's good at, you'd be better off just getting a nozzle for your hose. I guess it would be useful if you just didn't have running water, but again, in that case you probably don't have electricity where you're at either, and the battery problem becomes worse.
I bought this unit about a month ago and the 2nd time I used it the quick connect hose adapter broke in two. I see many others have experienced the same issue and questioned why the fitting is not brass (good question!). I have bought many Dewault products in the past and have been happy with them which is why I chose Dewault for the power washer. However, if this part is going to continue break every a couple of uses then I want to return it. P.S - I have bought man
My children bought me this unit for Christmas. Used it 3 times and the garden hose adaptor snapped in half. Thought it was a decent unit till that happened.
quick connect is worthless it broke before i even got a chance to use it. usually a huge fan of dewalt products but this was more than disappointing it was infuriating
I was so excited when I learned about this one. I got it for a Christmas present. Well that just means that now I am stuck with it. Like everyone else the plastic hose adapter broke inside 15 mins. I still had stuff to clean so I didn't want to find out how long I would wait, just for a replacement of equally poor construction. 2 hardware stores and 45 mins later I admit defeat. No standard pressure washer couplings are compatible with this. They invented it or something, sure why go with standards that make your product cross compatible with every other or the most major other brands. So I cut open the box for a new one and took the hose adapter. I am from Baltimore. My brother worked for SBD for 15 years. I try and support the hometown brand but when you make garbage you spit on me for that. You engineering is clearly lacking. You owe everyone that bought this a recalled part. Make and send a brass adapter to everyone that purchased one. That's what you owe here.
Bought this with great anticipation as I own a deck building company and thought it would be great for clean up. Used it for less than 10 minutes before the plastic quick connect snapped in half. Can't find a replacement for the part. So back to the store it goes.
