Dewalt heat gun.
Very happy with the heat gun. The attachments are nice for specific tasks. So far so good.

Hot and Ready for Action!
Had this unit for 4 years now. Use it mostly for adhesive lined heat shrink tubing on soldered landscape wire and direct burial splice kits. The attachments make it heat evenly and quick. Also have used it in repairing a few chips in windshields

Great Heat Gun
I have used this gun for a variety of applications, applying tint/film, thawing frozen pipes, heat shrink, etc. The LCD display is awesome, well lit, and gives you control in 50 degree increments. The temperature control is nice as there is a major difference between an actual temperature and low/med/high. The case and various tips cover all basic needs. This is a very well designed and well made product.

I love the memory for the heat, the work I was doing didn't take long. Going to love all the attachment that I got with it. It a money saver.

Excellent investment!
I got this item back in 2016. Since that time I have completely rewired two 80"+ wide trailers with solder and seal connectors throughout, plus many other heating projects. For wiring, it is much better than a flame to heat connectors. No scorching the wire's insulation on each end of the connector. The LCD is handy to set the temp close what is needed, but without a thermocouple to check it I can't say how accurate it is.

No Quality Control
Fifth time this gun was used no digital temp display and cold air. This is not the Dewalt quality I expect

LCD turn off and it doesn,t heat any more
I,ve used the tool 4 or 5 times at home, after 6 months of storage need it again but the LCD didn,t turn on, and makes no heat.
