I have 4 5ah XR batteries and they work great on my XR tools but I wanted something a little more compact and lighter for my drills so I purchased 4 of these 2ah batteries last year. No complaints at all, never let your lithiums run down all the way, once you notice them really losing their charge ....it's time to recharge them, make sure the batteries "click" into the charger. These batteries are XR's, DeWALT changed the label and removed the XR labels in 2019 ...for what reason I don't know, just to confuse us I guess.
Holds charge pretty good and came in a timely manner.
This battery should be used on smaller tools ie. jigsaw, oscillator, casing nailer. Lasts a long time and it's lightweight for smaller quick jobs. Some of these comments here make me believe some of these guys are trying to use them on jigsaws and circular saws.
I appreciated the charging and run times about it. Lasted a lot longer than Ihad anticipated.
i love this battery order it as a backup and it really came in handy
great product
I received the correct battery but it was out of its original OEM packaging and tossed into the small shipping box . This leads me to suspect that this was a returned item and checked- out. It does charge when plugged in. The next time maybe I would consider one sealed in plastic.
Ordered a Dewalt battery and received an off brand version that doesn't even have a brand name written anywhere on it. It's absolutely NOT a dewalt.
Battery was not in hard plastic it was in a plastic bag it had one bar on the charge light put on the charger for a hour came back took off check to see if it was fully charged and had no light put in my drill and nothing . Returned back to Walmart and got a refund back . Not sure what happened to battery ,i think it was a bad battery
THE BATTERY WONT HOLD A CHARGE
