I've been using the corded version of the tool for 15 years. The 60v version is much more convenient, versatile and powerful. Because of the torque it has many applications around the job site.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an electrician apprentice and I bought this tool to help with underground work. Pre-construction forces us to estimate where sleeves go prior to the floor gets put in. When we get the conduit wrong we have to chip the concrete, place the conduit, mix the concrete, then pour it. Alot of the time we do not have temporary power on this section of the building at that point and need to move around alot. This tool give the power of a plugged in tool with the versatility of a cordless tool. Here comes the second use... I have found that this tool is also really good for 3-4 inch hole saws. The high torque and low rpm causes the hole saw to not burn the wood and the handle/ e-clutch feature helps me not throw out my wrist when cutting holes through the wood. (Large auger bits and Paddle bits are also great fits) The locking feature on the jaw also helps keep the bits tight! Here is why it lost out on the 1 star - The Drill only has 3 handle options to choose from (Good for mixing concrete bad for cutting holes in tight spaces) and the drill itself mixed with a 60v battery is extremely bulky and difficult to use in tight or under counter spaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great drill. Use it mainly on mixing material for cement and for my tile work. Used it to make some fence holes for post. Would recommend it.
