Good pump strong battery easy attachments and long hose
Effortless
I bought this thinking it was a wobbly try, but it works like a dream. Excavator track tension cylinders are the worst for hand guns...this makes greasing fun.
Our grease gun was very worn out and finally fell apart. This grease gun is so great, we wish the old one had fallen apart sooner. We have a lot of equipment to grease and this makes it not a chore any more. We're ready to grease everyone's stuff now. ;)
Use my grease gun for all my equipment, tractor, wood chipper, tiller, mower and vehicles. Great machine use to use a hand pump but the time reduction for greasing every 10 hours is reduced to minutes vs hours. If you have multiple equipment this is a major time saver, not a pleasant task but grease is cheaper than metal.
The seals in the tube are terrible. When you pull the rod back to extract the empty grease tube, you get about 25% of the grease coming back at you. Not cool. Not only does it make a huge mess, it is going to be costly in the long run due to all the waste.
I have had 5 of the 20v dewalt grease guns over the last many years. For the most part a good gun for light duty greasing. When greasing tougher zerks or in colder temps the relive valve will let grease out long before the zerks sees anything near 10,000psi. I was stubborn and keep with dewalt because the batteries were all the same as my other tools. Recently used a Milwaukee m18 dual speed grease gun on a excavator that had 8 zerks that the dewalt would not grease and just go over relive. There is no comparison the M18 out pushes my Dewalt guns it has zero issues with those same 8 zerks. I have welded the relive valve shut on one of my dewalts and that helps a lot but the motor wont stop and it will fail the gun if not really careful. I will be replacing them with Milwaukee
I have been using this grease gun to grease our Kabota Mini-Excavator and tracked skid steer daily for 3 months and yesturday it started to making a grinding noise and skipping pump cycles. Then today the drive mechanism stripped out completely. If you need a cordless grease gun go with a Lincoln, I had one at my old company for 3 years, greasing 2-8 machines a day, and it still is being used to this day by the person who filled my position after I left. But it did work well before it broke but I am not impressed getting 3 months out of a tool.
I have no Idea what it's like Paul Assbury sent me the wrong thing and now he is steeling it back from me. If Paul Assbury hadn't reneged on the agreement he %26 I had I could give a review!
I have several pieces of equipment I need to grease every day. Bought this grease gun since all my other battery operated tools are DeWalt. Out of the box had issues with it not priming. Got it to prime and needed to grease the tracks on a skid steer which I replaced the tracks on. Then I went to grease the fittings on the machine and grapple bucket. Failed after two zerks were greased. I will have to buy another Lincoln that was trouble free.
