I bought 2 of these saws for Christmas presents. Dewalt never disappoints. They loved the saws to say the least. The quality and reputation this brand has is great. The size is compact yet powerful

Purchased in May 2026 used twice since then. Saw cuts well. Love the cordless option. Still on same battery charge. So handy just to take tool out and start cutting. No messing with extension cords finding power rtc

I have had this for a year now and it is such an amazing saw. No kickback at all. Graf for ripping sheets of osb and plywood. Just a great all around saw.

Bought this last month for my father as he loves Dewalt tools, and has a corded Dewalt circular saw so I replaced it with this cordless one. He is happy with this saw as it performs wells and it is light.

This is my first brushless tool but now, I want to upgrade all my other tools to brushless as well. Every cut is just little bit easier and faster, and as a result your projects will be completed in less time. It's a really nice lightweight saw that you can use all day and not be tired. Pair it along with the 5ah battery and you can cut most projects on a single charge. I made about 20 cuts on 2x4s and was still showing full bars. Plus if you pair this with a good guide, the cuts come out straight and clean. For the size and weight it punches in another weight class. The 6.1/2in blade I think is perfect as it keeps the saw little smaller and lighter than it's 7.1/4in counterpart. All in all, I'm very happy, Dewalt has done an amazing job with this saw and I can't wait to upgrade my other tools to the brushless system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally avoid circular saws whenever possible. Maybe my 18v DeWalt was worn out or the batteries are just old. I was hesitant to try it, but pleasantly surprised when I set up a straight edge and crosscut 2 stacked pieces of half inch plywood. Even with the included blade, it handled it nicely and had very little tear-out. I ended up doing all my cuts right there instead of hauling the pieces over to the table saw. I'm planning on making a tracksaw guide for it now. I have a deck project coming up this summer and I'm actually excited to use this circ, instead of the initial dread of using my old one. The included 5ah battery held up easily for the small amount of time I've used it so far. It will be interesting to see how it does on the deck. I'll update if I can after that. The adjustments tool-less, which is is as to be expected, but easy and intuitive. The included bag is nice. It has surpassed my expectations and I can't think of anywhere it is lacking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a 20v 6 1/2in saw for 6 years now. It built a small house and is still working flawlessly. This new xr 20v is more refined due to the cast deck instead of my old metal stamped one. Also, it is quieter but just as powerful. I haven't found anything that these saws won't cut through even with the blade completely submerged. Sure they will bog, but still get any job done.

My new Cordless DCS565 arrived by Fedex on Friday and today I assembled the blade ( no problems) and tried to make the first cuts after recharging the battery. The unit appears to have a problem with the trigger switch and lock off switch. The saw most times does not go to full power and the LED light flickers. How can I have this unit replaced with the same package DWTDCS565P1
