Dewalt DCS578X2 60V MAX FLEXVOLT Brushless 7-1/4' Cordless Circular Saw Kit

I haven't personally used it yet but I've used my friends and it's a really great saw. you can hang it on rafters and joists belt loop.

Best running saw out of the box I've ever owned. The 60 volt batteries get this saw extended run time and more cuts per charge compared to the big red brand. My coworkers are always using my saw . The only problem is that we need to buy another saw because everyone is always taking it. I love the fact how I can use the power stack batteries and get the same power output. The saw was square right out of the box. I picked up a 12 amp hour battery on Black Friday and now I have the ultimate setup.

I bought this saw maybe 2 years ago for cutting Hardie board and it works absolutely amazing, the 60V is an absolute beast and most powerful cordless saw I've used.

This thing is a beast! I was a little reluctant to go to a battery pack for a circular saw. But I took the plunge a couple years ago and haven't looked back. Soild performance. Excellent cuts. Every time I use this it reminds me of how good this is.

Just got my DCS578x2 kit and another for my employee who wanted it as well. We love the saws! The saw, a bag, blade, 2 9ah Flex Volt batteries and a Fast Charger... LOVE! The saw is incredible and works better than anticipated! Cuts like a hot knife through butter and the brake feature stops on a dime! The batteries life cycle is awesome and lasts long. I am a professional carpenter and use this repeatedly all day long. The rafter hook is a great addition as well! Thanks dewalt for such a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 7 1/4 60v Flexvolt circular saw and used it on a small shed rebuild project. Saw was purchased to replace an older Standard 20v Dewalt version. Previous 20v version was very dependable which was why I decided to stay with the Dewalt brand and upgrade to the flex volt platform. The new fast charger charges a 9AH battery in super fast time and made short work of the project. Love the brake mechanism and the light. Overall very solid built with precise cuts. Good compliment to my ever expanding Dewalt flexvolt collection. PROS The circular saw has solid durability and outstanding cutting ability. Blade switches can be done with relative ease. Batteries are amazing and charge fast. 9AH battery is a beast. CONS I just wish Dewalt had included a green laser guide on this particular model as it does have the power for it to work. 9AH battery can make the tool a little bit heavy. if you don't mind compromising on the run time by switching to a 6AH battery this can make the saw a little bit more manageable in regards to the saws weight. Last criticism every circular saw a manufacturer faces. Basically the ability to use the circular saw ambidextrously. Just some long cuts need to be made using your left hand which is difficult at times.

I purchased this saw with the intent to be cordless to take to the jobsite. I already have the 20v 6 1/2 saw which I love, but I needed something with more power for other items. Upon purchasing it, I put it to my ultimate test. Cutting stair stringers out of wet treated 2x12. I was shocked how easy this saw handled it. It didn't even bog down once, which is more than I could say for my corded. The brake performed better than expected as well, great safety feature. Ergonomically, it feels better in my hand than any corded I've owned, but of course, that could be my opinion. I'm sold. It's all I thought it would be and then some.

I love this saw. It feels really good in your hand, very well made. It has plenty of power. Even when ripping 2" lumber it was never slowed down. Some of the features I really like are: Built in led work light Heavy duty hang hook Blade Wrench that is internally stored Auxiliary front handle It also comes with a nice thin kerf blade that really cuts well. The 9 AH batteries last all day and the quick charger is great. It has a built in fan to keep it cool while charging the batteries. Charges much faster than my old charger. This is absolutely the best circular saw I have ever used.

Everything you need is on board no misplacing the wrench to replace the blade. And speaking of blade it has a lock for changing blade. The batter life is amazing. The deck adjustments are extremely easy and levers are very accessible. I have been using my Rockwell for some time now as you can tell by the brand name and I have never found anything worthy of replacing it. I now have a reason to retire it. Thank you DeWalt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this product about a week ago and ever since I never had to use my corded circular saw, this tool offers the power and cosintancy of the wal connected saw its really hard to believe till you see it with your eyes, my combo came with a pair of 9ah flexvolt batteries that hardly let you half way job without power.
