This tool kit was exactly as advertised, I was able to go from the box and then power wash my patio and it took off the layer of grime as easily as my gas powered one, but a lot quieter. I drew straight from a bucket to try that out and it worked very well.
i had 2nd thoughts with this, since the review on YT says it cant take the mud off the car… vOila! it proved it wrong! With a 550 psi plus on Hi mode… mud under car and around the wheel was easily washed out…
Love this product, very easy to use and does excellent
So the product is great, but the hose connection should be tougher, yes I have used it a fare bit since I got (about 3 weeks) but the hose connections to the washer it self are weak, this is where there needs to be an improvement as mine has broke but don't even know how. It split at the part that is in side the quick connect so not sure how, but also replacement parts should be a little more available
I'm a mobile detailer, and I bought this power cleaner so I wouldn't have to carry a large tank of water. It works well, I enjoy using it and it does what I need it to do. With 5-10 gallons of water I can clean a vehicles wheels and tires, and rinse down a vehicle. The reason I gave this only 4 stars instead of 5 is because I very much dislike the long nozzle. It's very difficult to get into tighter places like when I'm cleaning and then rinsing inside door jam areas. It needs to have a shorter nozzle option, like a snub nose sprayer. Even if it was half the length, something, please dewalt, give us a shorter spray nozzle option. Oh and the foam “cannon” is almost pointless. But at only 550psi, not sure what can be done there.
Good for small job but you should definitely offer the possibility to buy a shorter wand for jobs in restricted space.
I bought this product a month ago and was excited to use it! It did ok until the plastic filter snapped in half. What a disappointment! Of course now I see you have a 60 volt with a brass fitting! That is what the 20 volt needs! Now I'm stuck with a squirt gun at best!
The idea of being able to bring a pressure washer anywhere is awesome. The first couple times I used it I was quite pleased with the results. However both hose connect options are very weak components and developed issues almost immediately. The hose connect for the portable hose provided by dewalt developed a small crack in the plastic and no longer seals properly - which doesn't allow the device to properly build pressure. It's become an intermittent squirt gun at best. The garden hose hook up worked slightly longer, but the weight of a standard garden hose hanging off the bottom was enough to stress the the plastic and cause it to fully snap in two. (See photo) I have used this less than half a dozen times and it is 100% broken at this point.
The 1st problem I have is that it has almost no power. My garden hose is more powerful. Speaking of which, the garden hose connector broke the 2nd time I used it. I'm not looking for much, but this is the most disappointing DeWalt tool I have ever owned.
Under the "Includes" section, this product says the kit includes a DCST972 String Trimmer. THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE THAT!! DeWalt has had this on the incuded list ever since it appeared as an item on their page. I ordered the kit in hopes that it DID include it. I feel that I was robbed, and DeWalt should hold up to what they have said is included!!
