I see it gets a few rough reviews, but I've had mine for a year or better. It's done everything I've ever needed it to do, and still going strong
This has been amazing with NEGATIVE 20 degrees, and we won't talk about the windchill! I used this at least 6 times in these temps to jump start a vehicle, air up a tire or charge a battery for few hours .. didn't have to charge it just made sure to bring in out of the cold when finished.. I've somehow managed to bust off the on/off knob, I can still turn on with pliers, however I'd prefer a new knob. I can't seem to find one online
First time I used this was before I had a chance to give it an initial charge. Out of the box, I was able to jump start 2 vehicles and inflate several tires. I've had it a little over a year and I've only recharged it twice. I've driven off with it still attached to a tire once and accidentally left it outside overnight in a heavy downpour. It still works like brand new. The initial purchase price was a bit steep, but in the end it was worth it.
Bought this unit approximately 3 years ago and lasted this long until last week when full charging would now result in no accessible functions whatsoever. USB unavailable. LIGHT unavailable. Any other functions unavailable. Only time when functions would be accessible is when unit is CHARGING (except air compressor).
Hello. I was delivered today a DeWALT PORTABLE POWER that I bought with the intention of taking it later to Cameroon in Africa. However, I see that the input voltage ((not modifiable)) is 120 Volt; The voltage of the public network in Cameroon is 220 Volt. I will therefore have to adapt this device. What can you do to help me, please?
The internal part of the nozzle broke while filling up my tires and I cannot use it anymore (the part that push in the valve core to allow the air to go inside the tire). I've been trying to figure out where to go or call to replace that part. The unit in general works fine, but the main feature for me that is the capability to fill out my tires to the proper PSI without having to be worried of going over or lower the proper PSI is not possible anymore. IDK how that piece could have been damaged but the reality is that it has not use to me anymore.
I bought this unit one year ago. I used it about 6 times to jump start my truck and boat. Now the air, usb and lights quit working. See attached photo this is what a get when I turn on to jump start?
Bought this 1.5 years ago. Used it to jump my car. Worked great. Since then I have used it to inflate my bike tires every few months or so. Today I used it to top off my car tires now that the cold weather is here. Compressor cut out on the second tire. Was NOT heavily used prior.
That's very sad that I put so much stress and this battery pack, etc. I am a single mom and I just needed to jump start my car and this unit didn't do what it was supposed to do. I've literally used it twice. I jump started someone's car and a parking lot once and jump started a neighbor's car once. When I tried to jump start my own car...NADA. IN FACT IT ACTUALLY DRAINED IT EVEN MORE AND TOOK EVEN LONGER TO RECHARGE WHEN SOMEONE CAME TOO JUMPSTART MY CAR. I could have been out in the middle of nowhere trusting this unit and who knows what would have happened. Very frustrated! I really did expect better and so did my Dad. And like a previous reviewer, this won't charge more than 12.1. I was let down even after paying this much.
DeWALT should be ashamed to place their name on this piece of junk. I have never even used it and after a couple of years it will not accept a charge. My wife bought this for me as a gift. She thought it would be nice to have in my truck. I would give it no stars if possible. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PRODUCT.
