I recently burnt up my festool track saw. It was nearly cheaper to buy this kit vs. having the festool repaired. This saw is more powerful, I'm not hogging down the motor like my old corded saw, appears to cut as accurate. It still runs on my festool rails but I actually like the Dewalt 2-sided rail much better. I have one side set for 90* cuts and the other set for 45*. This was my first flexvolt purchase and I'll be investing more in the platform. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is my first tracksaw I've purchased in 13 yrs being a carpenter. I wish I knew about them earlier! Amazing for accurate quick cuts in plywood, and dust control works great with my Festool dust extractor. Great value, when I buy another it will be a corded festool only for power, and better dust collection. If you can't decide, buy the Dewalt. You won't regret it. I have used the festool and makita saws both measure the depth of cut in metric. Dewalts is in imperial measurement. But a straight factory edge every cut.
Bought this a week ago and this saw is powerful and accurate at breaking down plywood [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have had this for almost a year. I have used the corded version. The case is great as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is a game changer for trim work! It makes the cleanest cuts. I use this saw weekly to build composite decks. The only downside to this saw is DEWALT doesn't have any attachments for the track system to square up the track to the material.
