Birthday gift
I purchased this for my son's birthday. He loves Dewalt products and has several already . A big plus is that the batteries are interchangeable ! He has only used it once. So far so good. It is brand new so I suspect it will work good now and hopefully for quite a while .

It's a good product so protect your investment!
Well, so far, so good. My old blower, which I had only had for less than two years, suddenly stopped working and, upon investigation, I found this to be a common malady regarding DeWalt blowers. However, in fairness, I should add that I was using it for SNOW removal, NOT leaves, and I think I got it wet. SO, I decided to bear the responsibility and give DeWalt another shot. THIS time, I've made SURE to keep it dry and it's working fine!! Only complaint is that I'm 80 and it IS a little heavy..
