When I bought this tool I was expecting a more homeowner/ handyman type tool just because of the size of it, this is my first 12v dewalt tool so I was skeptical, this thing eats, punches above its weight class for sure, is less bulky than the 20v and also has surprisingly good battery life when paired with the 5 amp battery, I would say just as fast as the 20v XR or a little faster at times, excellent tool at a good price. Don't let the size fool you, it will surprise you how fast it cuts
I bought this for a gift and it was used as soon as it was openend
Best price on Dewalt tools!
I typically don't respond to solicitations for ratings by vendors, but this time I will. I have ordered two or more times from Walmart's site and am really pleased with the results. They're fast, efficient and easy to navigate. And, there's no fuss, no muss for returns.
Extremely fast shipping and exactly what my husband wanted for Christmas!
Use this all the time
Purchased this 12v oscillating tool because I needed a handy multi tool that is capable of withstanding some unexpected tasks. I find this tool to be very convenient and for its size, powerful, construction is solid, the weight is significantly lower than the xr version, and the quick blade exchange system makes this tool extremely handy. Something else to point out is the variable speed trigger which is a neat feature. Once again dewalt has impressed me with their broad selection of tools and models. Definitely recommend
This tool is underrated to the point where I felt inclined to add my own review. I've been migrating towards 12V tools from the 20V lineup, and have settled in to owning a blend of both as a homeowner who is working on renovations. I was very happy with the 20V Atomic multitool, but as I added 12V drills and drivers to my lineup, I felt inclined to switch the multitool altogether. This is better than the Atomic in every way except for one: battery life. And frankly, I don't care about the battery life because I have enough 12V packs to go around. The 12V actually cuts faster, even though it doesn't make sense (on paper) for it to do so. It is far easier to wield accurately, and fits into way smaller spaces, both of which are important variables for an oscillating tool.
Most used tools in my box!! It's versatile, compact, lightweight and reliable!! I love this thing, just wish the blades weren't so expensive!!!
This was returned and received returned, but hasn't refunded. I should have been refunded a week ago. I'm reconsidering my Walmart subscription!
