Dexter: Complete Season 1 (DVD)

How can someone that says he is so "inhuman" master almost all of the "human" emotions? I was alittle leery of this series, but it jumped out at us while we were shopping, and we got it, now I am hooked on this very original show, based on very original books. Its a must have if you enjoy the CSI series, but its a different take on the whole thing!

I never watch a whole season all the way through, well, until now. I watched the whole first season of Dexter in two days, 12 hours in two days seems like a lot of T.V. watching, but once you get sucked in, you just can't get out. Dexter really is the perfect monster, and also, the perfect first season.

I thought this show was excellent. There is a storyline in the first season and the ending it totally unexpected. I ordered the second season as soon as I finished the first. The first season arrived much sooner than expected & I was totally satisfied.

I Love the show Dexter and had my eye on buying the dvds whenever the price dropped. When I saw that walmart.com had the first two seconds for about 20 dollars each I realized that this was what i was waiting for. I decided to do the direct to store option, (i already seen the show and wasnt really in a hurry to receive the dvds,plus no shipping charges helped) The dvds were ready to be picked up by the following week.The show itself is great, and for the money is hard to beat for pure entertainment value.

Everyone in the office wants to barrow it. Can not watch just one episode.

I bought this for a friend and she loved it. She now wants the other seasons.

Love the show, DVD in great shape

This show is an awesome spin on an almost repetitive theme. Rather than being an abused psycho-path, Dexter just "is" the way he is. He didn't start having urges to kill because he was hurt by his parents or abandoned, oh no he is just a perfect monster. Which he even describes himself as!!! Dexter's father helps him to channel his 'creative' energies into making the world a better place- one kill at a time. I recommend it for fans of comedy, CSI, horrors, and the crime channel. Great show! I give it a two thumbs up!

I had never watched this series on TV, but I'd heard some buzz and after reading the reviews decided to give it a whirl. I am not usually into gore and I do consider this a gorey series (what with all the body parts and blood) but I did end up enjoying this series very much. It was a little slow to start, I think Dexter was just....not human enough to be likeable to me at first. In the end I just found him somewhat awkward, likable, and very amusing. I would recommend this series.
