Dexter: The Complete Series (Dexter / Dexter New Blood Season 1) (Blu-Ray)

The OG Dexter is the best Dexter! I also appreciate New Blood. It's nice to have this on disc and not pay for streaming just to watch one show for the rest of my life. I have only watched the first disc and the picture quality looks to be true HD. Packaging is solid and looks nice. All the correct discs are included.

I am such a huge fan of Dexter! I love this show and are so excited I can rewatch it before the newest shows start up! Dexter forever! No stopping him!! Highly recommend for any fan or even if you are simply just looking for something new to watch. Every episode is so good and keeps you on your toes!

I've only watched the New Blood Blu-rays so far because I just watched the main show on Netflix for the first time. I can't testify to what the other discs are like, but the New Blood discs played flawlessly, apart from one time where it paused for a second, and I thought there might've been a problem, but thankfully it played all the content. It's exactly what you'd expect with complete series packaging, it's all in one plastic case and discs are stacked on top of each other. I really loved the show, very intriguing with the whole works for the police during the day, and serial killer at night, but he only hurts bad people, so he's kind of both a hero and a bad guy in a way. It's very well done. I'd highly recommend people check out the show.

One of my all time favorite shows. I was hooked after the first episode, you're rooting for a serial killer with his own code. Michael C. Hall is perfectly cast as Dexter!

Playback quality %26 sound = 5 stars Packaging = 1 star All the Blu-ray Disks played flawlessly ... good quality on screen %26 surprisingly good sound. The quality of the disks gets 5 stars with no complaint. Each regular season has 3 disks (4 episodes per disk- a total of 12 episodes per season) New Blood season has 4 disks. The box you see in the advertising slips off. Then you have one HUGE, white plastic case that opens like a book (as all other cases do). However, there are 2 spindles (top %26 bottom) on each sleeve. Each spindle holds 3 disks - triple stacked - one disk directly on top of the other. Because the spindles are offset - all 3 season 1 disks --are ON TOP OF the 3 season 2 disks. Which means -- you have to remove all 3 season 1 disks (and put them somewhere) ... to get to the season 2 disks... this also means that if your at the end of season 2 ... you will have 5 disks scattered around you TV area. (Aakkkk!!) The entire case is like that -- remove all season 3 to get to season 4 - remove all season 5 to get to season 6 etc. .... Myself... I went ahead %26 spent $15 to get 2 empty 12 disk cases... they held seasons 1-4 and seasons 5-8 and I still need another one for the New Blood disks ... but since I plan on buying the remaining Dexter shows anyway--I'm waiting to see how many disks I might need a case for total. Considering that I got over 80 hours of TV watching for $55 is EXELENT!! But I just WISH they had been a bit more considerate with the packaging. I have bought other TV series that had 6 or 8 seasons and each season was in its own case ... why couldn't Dexter have done the same. Just BE AWARE that you might want to be purchasing additional cases for this great show and this very good deal.

Dexter is one of my favorite shows. I'm happy to own the complete series. The issue I have is the packaging of this set. It's just several discs stacked on top of each other and interlaced. It's really inconvenient and the discs of each season aren't necessarily even stored together. Also, when I received mine, a lot of the discs were loose in the case. Overall, it's a great show, but this set is kind of a mess.

I think I received a bootleg disc set. Not only was the picture quality not very good but disc one was out of order. Instead of watching disc one eps. 1,2, and 3 in order as normal, you had to watch disc 1 eps. 1,3 and 2 in that order for them to be in the proper order. I had to write it on disc 1 to watch 1,3, and 2 for it to be in order in case I care to watch it again. Otherwise I love Dexter and loved the story line, but I wish mine would have been better picture quality and that my episodes on disc 1 would have been in order.

The disc were printed on the wrong season . season three is printed on season eight you don't know what disc putting in very poor quality of Blu-ray there's no way of getting in contact with Showtime the correct the issue
