We've only been using this kennel for two weeks now. It was fairly easy to build, material and locks seem a little cheep. I wouldn't be surprised if the locks stopped working after a while. But for what it is, it's pretty nice. It looks really good and is much nicer than our previous wire kennel.

I love the look! Big enough for a large dog even though I have a medium sized dog. The wood color is nicer than advertised! I was a little concerned about the quality of the “wooden” portions. It requires you to be very careful during assembly. Overall, it was easy to assemble and it looks beautiful in my home! I would recommend this item.

Dog type: 50lbs, L-XL size Can confirm that there IS enough room in this crate for a L dog. Can confirm there's space for the dog to lay down fully, spin around before bed, and stretch. My dog loves this crate, more than we thought she would. She absolutely loves it and go into it happily. Overall, the box arrived great. Beginning to build is fine, the wood is sturdy but obviously not heavy and probably some sort of plywood. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH BUILDING THIS CRATE. When going to connect two pieces of wood together with the frame, an insert where you are supposed to connect the nail and hole. THERE WAS NO HOLE. We had absolutely no way to secure the nail to the wood without cutting another hole. The opposite side had a perfectly fine hole. It was quite literally missing a key part to building the crate, due to a manufacturing mistake. At this point we had already been building the crate for 2-3 hours and did not want to fight for another replacement. Proceeding with the build, everything fell into place great. You will need a tiny screwdriver for the screws that connect the door, they are molecular level small. After building was finished and it was time to place the final piece of wood on top, that would act as the tabletop, we realized it would not go all the way on. It went in about 70% of the way, and has been that way ever since. We attempted to place 30lb weights on top to weigh down the wood and secure it to the crate, but it would not budge. Also, the actual bolts to shut the crate are iffy. There are four, two on each door, and they close by securing the long bolt into a bar so the doors cannot be pushed open. Unfortunately, the top and bottom of the door needs to be aligned perfectly, because if they are not, the locks will be out of balance and ours only fully locks for 2 out of the 4 locks.
