Very consistent
As a child, I remember Mom making egg custard. In Mexico it's called Flan and has a Carmel syrup. This brand is excellent, smooth and creamy every time.

An amazing dessert rivalling traditional custard
We love this flan. Although cooked on the top of the stove it has a smooth texture like traditional baked custard. Its addictive. I always make 2 boxes. Be careful because containing milk it boils over easily. The syrup packet on some versions is very bitter so suggest you use table or maple syrup instead. If you swirl the syrup in a glass bowl it will unmold easily but for best results should be chilled several hours or overnight and tap firmly on countertop first. Its getting more difficult to find this or comparable product so stock up.
