Even on 1 it is very warm. 2 makes it hot. Too hot for seniors. Could really hurt someone. I have to turn it off after its warm. Does heat fast. Be careful.

Buy another brand.
The blanket cuts off after a few hours (not ten, as the safety feature, but a FEW) meaning you wake because you are cold.

Do not buy.
I purchased this blanket and it never came. I waited for a weeks for movement since it is a busy time of year. No movement. would not buy again from this seller. Walmart did issue a refund of the full amount.
