DHP Dusty Twin over Twin Metal Bunk Bed with Secured Ladder, Silver

It' was easy to put together. The ladder doesn't stay on the floor. It needs stoppers at the bottom because it's scraping up the floor. It's kinda wobbly but you get what you pay for. Overall I recommend.

The bunk beds came today...If you are wary of buying, don't be. It is a quality bed. It does not break into two beds. I don't have space for that so I went with this model. It took me 3hrs to put together by myself. I think that could be cut in half with help. It is very sturdy. Put it together in the room you plan on leaving it in. It weighs at least 90lbs. The silver paint is nice. I can sit on the bottom comfortably. I'm 5'2". The bed standing up is about my height also. No mattresses yet, but they should arrive soon. I purchased them on here separately. My girls are 12 and 8. It seems to hold up to them climbing on it.

We have 2 daughters. 11 & 3 years old. The beds are working out perfect. We were concerned about the height of the beds. It said 86" in height but, that was not correct. After reading the comments about the size, we decided to continue with our order. Very glad for the comments and very thankful that the bunkbed is working out GREAT!!!

My boys are teens and rough on everything. We had wooden bunk-beds but became concerned with stability. We searched and searched for used metal bunk beds for months in the paper and on internet sites. I happened to be on Walmart.com and just by chance noticed they had exactly what we were looking for at a price a lot less than we had expected. We purchased on the spot got a text and picked up at store a day before they were supposed to be in! Directions said 2 hours for assembly which I believe is only because of the shear tediousness of all the screws and little items, (which would be any bed) it took us under the time. The bunk beds are beautiful sharp looking beds, the silver literally looks good with anything, even the constant unmade bed! The top is sturdy and safe and easy to get up and down. I am thoroughly impressed with our purchase! Who would have thought Walmart!

This bump came very well priced very fashionable. The ladder is on a tilt which is much safer than the straight bunkbed ladders, which are often attached to the side of the bunkbed. This means kids have to climb up at a 90° ankle, which is of course difficult for small children. This bed provides a tilted ladder which Provides an added safety feature. It's perfect we love it. Happy with my choice from Walmart. Thank you.

We bought this bunk bed for our 9 and 10 yr olds, they share a small room and we needed the extra space. My husband usually puts everything together because I'm not good at that kind of stuff, but the girls and I worked together and got it up before he got home! The instructions were so easy to follow and it looks wonderful! The only complaint from the girls is the ladder rungs are very hard on their feet, I think we'll put some padding on them to see if that helps. I would totally recommend this to anyone needing a good sturdy bunk bed. *okay, the hardest thing about rating this is choosing a nickname~sheesh!

For the price of this bunk bed its of very good quality. Assembly took about an hour and is definitely a 2 person job due to the size of the pieces. Unfortunately, one of the pieces was missing a predrilled hole. This issues was quickly and very politely resolved by DHP (the manufacturer) and was replaced at no extra cost. Very good customer service on DHPs part. I have a 4 and 5 year who are very active and rough. Even with them both on the bed and moving about it feels very sturdy and I would recommend this bed. I would recommend that you fully read the instruction before you begin assembly and inventory the parts. Also, re-ensure that all bolts are tightened after assembly and once it's moved to it finial location. However, Walmarts shipping of this item was less than satisfying. I paid extra for faster shipping and it wasn't shipped until the day it was scheduled to arrive. After contacting Walmart customer service they attempted to pass the blame onto others. Just remember, this is a large, heavy item. Shipping will be a bit slow.

I did site-to-store shipping with this bed and made the mistake of not opening the box until I got it home, where I saw that 3 of the 4 main posts of the bed were bent so severely that there was no way of using them. Those 3 posts are made of some sturdy metal and it took some doing to bend them in that way. That was especially odd to me, since the box they came in was not damaged at all. There were many smaller, thinner pieces in the box, none of which were damaged. The 3 pieces were damaged BEFORE being placed in the box. I called the company to order spare parts and was told that it would take 10-14 days to receive them. After 2 weeks had passed, I called again to check on the status and was told that those particular parts were out of stock and they could not give me any sort of time frame as to when I would receive them. I finally decided to return the bed to Walmart and they took it back, even though I had thrown the outer box away. I believe this would have been a nice bed had it not been damaged in the factory and thrown into the box to be shipped out anyway. I would order another one but it's a gamble whether or not I will receive a useable product.

We needed more floor space in our girl's rooms. We were very much on a budget. The bed is fairly easy to put together. All parts were there. The overall quality is fair. The ladder hurt their feet, so we became creative and used water noodles and rapped them in a funky design of duck tape, that seems to correct the problem. We have only had beds for a week and they are still standing. If you are on a tight budget and need beds, I would recommend, but If you can afford a better quality, then I would recommend you purchase a higher end bed. I hope this review helps other parents.
