DHP Trundle for Metal Daybed, Black

We have a giant breed dog that requires a twin size bed. This trundle works great for our purpose and when need be we can roll the bed out of the way, the handles are very convenient. The roller wheel brakes work well to hold bed in position, no movement getting on/off bed. It is sturdy enough to hold both the regular twin mattress and his body weight. Easily assembled.

This trundle looks nice and works perfect for our needs.We have an 8 & 3 year old sharing a room at the moment and did not feel bunk beds would be safe. The trundle is working out perfectly. The kids know they have to clean their room before night time for the bed to come out. Perfect!

I am very happy with this trundle. I bought the daybed as well and am very satisfied with both. The assembly was simple enough. My kids put it together with my 16 year old son in charge. It wheels very smoothly and the wheels lock into place to prevent it from rolling when you don't want it to. It is very sturdy and does not creak at all. Highly recommend it!

I purchased the daybed and trundle for my 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old boys. The trundle works perfectly for my youngest. It was very easy to put together. I did it by myself in about 15-20 minutes. My boys have to share a room so, it is a big space saver. Works great for my family.

I ordered a bundle which included the trundle and the daybed in black. The daybed came white. The trundle came black. I wanted it all done by a certain time and they do not carry either in the local Wal-Mart, so I decided to keep them and paint them green and antiqued them to look like an old iron bedframe set. I wanted the beds for a guesthouse that is themed as an old farmhouse. Other than the color error, I was happy with my order. The beds themselves are good quality for the price paid. The assembly was easy and the frames seem quite sturdy. There is a weight limit listed on the daybed of 225 for those who that may be a concern for. I slept on both beds and they are comfortable.

I purchased both the daybed and the trundle from Walmart.com. They arrived quickly and didn't take long to set up. The trundle slides under the daybed easily. It is not one that raises up even with the daybed, but for my grandsons it will work beautifully.

The trundle fits under the metal daybed we had and slides easily back and forth with a foam mattress on it. There are cross members on the frame that are linked with plastic connectors that snap in place to provide more stability and middle support. It would be wise to include a few extras in the packet as these pieces are plastic and one snapped and broke during installation. Since there are no extras, we are down one part.

The bed/trundle is definently grey like other post stated. Beware the weight limit. I still think it's good for the price. Make sure you assemble the support snaps starting from one end to the other (instead of two people working their way in from opposite sides). Broke one of the support snaps and had to call manufactuer (not Wal-Mart) to have more shipped, but they are manufacturer in a different company (they wouldn't say which one) and it will take more than a month to have them shipped in. Very quick and easy to assemble. Kids like it. The trundle was shipped but missing the wheels - had to call manufacturer to have them shipped from Canada - more than a week and still waiting for them.) So no one has gotten to sleep and test the trundle out, only the bed.

This is because the picture shows both and is very misleading. I called the guy and asked why I didn't receive my entire delivery, and he says that in the fine print, it says sold separately-which is entirely my fault, because I know that in this generation, you must read the fine print. It's still a beautiful piece, easy to assemble, I just need to order the top. =]

I believe the wording in this ad was changed. Ad is deceiving, although I think it was a mistake. Ad shows a trundle day bed/ not a trundle for a daybed. The original ad did not say for a daybed. I believe wording was changed afterwards to fix mistake. Now I have to buy the daybed, won't buy here again
