DHP Twin Size Upholstered Urban Daybed, Storage Sofa Bed with Drawers for Kids and Adults, No Box Spring Needed, Blue Linen

This is a full size day bed. It's grey velvet and it's really attractive. The grey is a nice grey that will match and goes with everything. When it arrived it was all in one box and the box was very heavy. Very heavy. I got this bed for granddaughter for her “big girl bed”. I took the box apart and carried the pieces up the stairs. The directions for assembly were very easy to understand and it was really easy to put it together. Really easy (and I'm a 64 year old grandma! Lol) It comes with 2 drawers, that I also assembled, that roll and go under the bed for storage. My granddaughter has toys in one drawer and stuffed animals in the other. But you could use it for clothes or whatever you choose. Once the bed was all done and had bedding on it my granddaughter was so excited she asked to go to bed. All in all- this is a large and really nice bed that was simple to put together. I'm extremely happy with this bed.

Exceeded my expectations. Beautifully made. Looks very expensive. Drawers hold even a queen size down comforter. Love it! I bought the blue velvet and the color is divine.

Our 9 year old son really wanted a couch bed for Christmas. We ordered this bed and it arrived on time. It was super easy to put together and to say he loves his bed would be an understatement.

Beautiful bed! Quick and easy assembly. It took me (30 yo woman) about 1.5 hours to assemble. The instructions were all very clear with an exception of the labeling of the hardware. The hardware labels didn't make a lot of sense but it was pretty easy to figure it out. Very happy with the quality.

What an attractive piece of furniture the DHP Urban Daybed with storage is. It is sleek, chic, trendy, spacious, and most importantly, comfortable. Assembly was very easy. Instructions were very clear. The base of the daybed is made of wood slats that house the twin mattress (the mattress is sold separately). There is no need for a box spring, the slats are supportive enough. The frame/headboard is an attractive grey linen. There are also two linen framed drawers on casters for convenient storage under the bed. The drawers roll in and out easily and their outer frame helps give the daybed a sort of "skirted" front/bottom appearance. I ordered one of those mattress that arrives rolled up in a box. It fit perfectly and the bed is super cozy! Even though the daybed is twin sized, it appears to be very large. It looks like a very large sofa. I think you will be very pleased with it.

Easy to assemble it looks like a lot when it's out of the package but it's really not that much and it looks amazing when it's put together (it's super heavy in the package)

I am in love with this piece. This bed allows dual use - I can set this us as a bed or as a couch for my son's room. The storage section underneath is awesome for toys or pajamas to be kept close. My son is independent and is looking forward to using every aspect of this daybed. Did not look too difficult to put together - thanks Dad! I really just love that more room is now available in the room. We got rid of a queen size bed to use this full day bed. It is plenty of space for my child and opens up more room space to move around.

i was given this DHP Daybed with Storage, Full Size Frame, Gray Velvet for an impartial review. 1st please take note this is FULL size daybed, not a twin. This is important to consider because you can not sit with your back resting on the backboard and your feet touch the floor. This bed arrived in 1 large long box. It took 2 people to carry it into my house. Every part is packed extremely well! The small parts, screws, nuts/bots, etc are vacuum sealed and include 1 extra of each. How awesome is that! I laid everything out on the floor, all pieces were there except 1 wooden slat. Customer service was notified. Another 1 has been shipped. I put the bed together by myself, it took less than 2 hours. The storage bins have rollers and simply roll on the floor under the bed. A set of sheets, a thin blanket or small pillow will fit into a storage bin. The storage bins actually have a little "lock" to keep them stationary. It's a nice feature. The headboard and side boards are lightly padded and covered with gray velvet fabric. The slats are wooden and spaced not to far apart. The slats seem strong enough to handle a full size mattress and 2 average size adults. I believe this daybed is a good value and could be used for various bedroom settings. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't received my missing slat as of today.

So I was super excited to receive this day bed but It's not real wood. The fabric on it is a velvet gray fabric that is thin and not strong at all. If your not careful it rips easy. The draws are flimsy. You cannot put anything that is heavy or hard because the drawers are plastic. It doesn't come with a mattress so you would have to buy one. My daybed is a full size. It has a bad smell to it. More like a vomit smell. I tried to get it out by spraying it but it hasn't left. Not sure why. It not very sturdy also. It moves east to position it tho
