Highest quality of the six spatulas I own. It would have more functionality if one side of the blade was scooped (concave) rather than rounded(convex).

Looks like it will last a long time

The narrow size is great to get into small openings and a flat side with point gets into the corners. The rounded side will fit bowls to get every drop out. A long handle is always a good thing; the new design with no crevices or bumps makes it easier to clean. and the stiff core makes it usable. I have some older ones that are a bit harder to clear of batter but have a good stiff core. I handed over my old silicone tools with no core to grandchildren to play with.

Had very high hopes for this due to ratings from America's Test kitchen. Specifically wanted a longer-handle spatula with a smaller scraping "head" fit into jars. Quality was excellent. Washed well in the dishwasher. Rating is only three stars is because the handle was too thin to securely grip. Also, while most of the handle is very stiff, which is fine, the end of the handle (where the hole is for hanging) is too flexible and bends while using. Sounds minor, but it was awkward to use. We tested it not only with jars but scraping out small bowls. Finally gave up and went back to the more traditional sized silicone spatulas we already have with thicker handles. Notw: We only tried the long handled jar scraper size, so we can't speak to the more traditional size spatula by the same company and whether or not it has the same kind of construction on the handle. If this one had a thicker handle, with no flexing at the end where the hole is, I think it might have been good.
