Bought two large Rolls one for Shop one for house .spent the time to change out pads on both units ,walk the old fiber pads down the long driveway to the trash and throw away.Just changing pads on these units is a 4 hr process and difficult.Anyway while walking the old pads and clean up I had the pumps on for presoak both units are 2018 6000 BTU. Was Changing because I wanted to upgrade pads we have really hard water and I was hoping these would be more durable and not clog up with calcium so badly.So !!! My shop has to project cars that are in verios stages of restoration along with tooling and welders equipment ect. I turned on the coolers and they pumped water all over my project cars and projects in the shop.At the house I turned the cooler on and it pumped out so much water it ruined my wife's billing invoices and work time sheets + it went everywhere on the floor and walls. Both unit pushing water all over the place,man was I upset .So guess who had to year the coolers back down ,walk down the street to the trash,pull the old pads out and reinstall to he old ones pretty much took my whole morning up screwing around with what should have been a good thing.These pads are total junk and there is no way this product has been tested for use in evap coolers,and should be sued for pushing this threw to the customer ,I for one will be hitting up Home Depot ,and letting them no not to sell these anymore. Junk ,Junk, Junk.

Bought them two weeks ago and installed them. They do not absorb any of the water, it just runs over the surface. Swamp cooler is blowing WARM outside air into the house. Pump and blower are working great. Do Not Buy These!!! I'm going shopping for some Aspen pads today at their competitors place today.
