Diamond® Long Reach Matches, Large Strike On Box Matches, 75 Count

I always have an extra box of these onhand. We use them primarily to light our grill. They reach the burners with ease. On occasion we've accidentally left them outside in the rain but they dry out and work in short order. Walmart has the best price for them as well.

They worked really good.

"Lightness?" Does that mean the weight of the match? I like that they don't snap in two like kitchen matches. I like that I don't have to keep them in a baggie with rice just in case I ever actually want to strike one. Long matches are the best in so many ways and my favorite part is that the heads are GREEN.

Diamond matches are a long-time standard. I tried another brand of long matches which were not up to the Diamond ones. The cheaper brand did not have a way to light them (no striker patch on the box), the wood was weak and not strong enough; so if you got it lit on another box it sometimes broke off and the lit end went flying. Very dangerous. Diamond matches are strong, light on the box's striker patch, and are reliable. Highly recommend Diamond brand long-reach matches.

Very good product. I bought a bunch of them for camping. Matches are really long, thick, and spark easily. and stay burned for some time.

Takes me back to my childhood when lighting lanterns when the snow and ice hit! Propane and real fire places…..they are super thick and very hard to break the flame puts out an amazing light and they are still so very sturdiness and the lightness is just an amazing experience all around!!

It was a pleasure lighting my candles with this match. My finger tips were not burned when I light the match and lit the, several candles(with 1 match) I'm really pleased with the length of this match. It stays lit for a long time.I will never buy regular size matches again!

These matches generally strike easily and burn well for the first inch or two before extinguishing--at least when the box is first opened. The most significant problem is that they are NOT strike anywhere matches and their container is is too flimsy to hold up to the number of matches in it being struck on it. The "striking patch" is very small and the box itself is not reinforced in any way. By the time I reach the last few matches in the box, I have to light them in some other way before I can use them to light my jarred candles.

The match sticks are incredibly thin and weak. Sometimes they take 2-3 strikes before they will light. And the sticks burn very fast, so it's not uncommon for me to need 4-5 to start a single fire. I mean they do the job, but if you're looking for quality, increase your price range because this isn't it.
