These walnuts are really fresh and taste great. I use them when making my fudge and brownies all the time, and the 8 oz bag is pretty much the perfect amount for a recipe since it equals about one cup. I also like that the bag is resealable so they stay fresh longer — although honestly they usually get used before I even need to reseal it. You can tell why so many people rated these so highly. Good quality walnuts and definitely worth buying if you bake a lot.
These Diamond walnuts are great. You get a good amount for the price, and they taste incredibly fresh. I've been adding them to my daily yogurt and oatmeal bowls, and they give it the perfect crunch. Highly recommend if you want an easy way to add some protein and healthy fats to your breakfast.
While nuts in general are not the cheapest things to buy, these walnuts are priced pretty good for the size bag you get. Trying to eat healthy things and learned that walnuts are a powerhouse of everything you should have. Originally ate them right out of the bag but now I throw them in the air fryer for 5 minutes and it deepens their nutty flavor. sometimes I sprinkle them on avocado toast and other times I just go straight for the crunch.
I do worry sometimes when I order online, whether I will be getting close to expiration date product. Especially with nuts, as they will go rancid eventually. Those are some of the reviews of other products I've seen, but usually associated with great value products... Just had these in my oatmeal this morning, and they were perfect. Pretty uniform sized pieces, nice and fresh, good bite to them. They're size would lend great to baking or salads. Decent value for a heart healthy product, very fresh. Can recommend fully
I always buy Diamond Walnuts to use for baking banana bread cookies etc. And I like to add them to my yougury and frexh fruit at breakfast. They are consistently fresh and flavorful
My oatmeal -raisin cookies just jumped up a notch! These walnut bits were exactly what I was looking for. Not too big, not too small. Great for including in my trail snacks too. They are fresh tasting and come in a resealable bag. I will be ordering again soon. Try them-- you will like them!
These were nice, fresh nuts, unlike the 3 pound sack of Kirkland nuts that I bought first that were totally rancid and unusable, even though the expiration date was the next year. I never heard back from the seller after I complained either. So I was delighted with these fresh ones!
I love walnuts and these are among the very best. To keep them fresh and tasty I keep them refrigerated and that works great. I use them in all my baking and as ice cream topping and just as a quick snack. No matter how you use them they are great.
I really only get this when I can't make it to Costco but it's a decent brand and quality. If you're not a bulk buyer though then this product is an ok way to go (just much more expensive by the ounce). The walnut chops are of various sizes, so if you're expecting uniformity then you'd be better off buying the whole or halved walnuts and chopping it yourself.
The walnuts are good but the packaging is not. The snap/seal works fine a couple of times and then one side rips off of the package so that you cannot seal the package anymore. This has happened to me each time that I have purchased this package of walnuts.
