I bought these as a less-expensive, more readily-available alternative to the Ohio Blue Tip matches I grew up playing with. They are easy to use. I can ignite one of these with my thumb nail, and the flame burns consistently all the way down. I also like the convenience of multiple smaller boxes instead of the big box. The strike surface on the box seems to hold up well, and the box itself is sturdy.

I expected the old kitchen matches at 2.9 inches in length. In reality I received the tiny individual size boxes at 1.75 inches in length.

It is way smaller than I thought it would be. It arrived on time and fast.

Very hard to find matches locally. Once these matches could be bought everywhere but, it's safer not to have them access to everyone now. No problem, just buy them here, solved the problem. Fast shipping and reasonable price. recommended.

Difficult to light other than on the package. Matches break, or striking head comes off more often than not. These are not the old school flick with your thumb or strike off the edge of a coin matches. For that matter, many of them disintegrate striking on the box.

I have been using diamond products Since 1987 for lighting my religion lamps. I do miss the diamond peel off Matches that a lot of people who smoke cigarettes.I do not smoke but those Design of matches are user friendly And easy to carry.The retailers do not Carry those fold/strike matches in my city. 02/25/2026.

The advertisement for this item is very misleading it shows 10/320 , I am convinced that they use this wording to purposely mislead. You don't get 10 boxes of 320 matches you get 10 boxes of 32 matches for a total count of 320. Also unless the law has changed these have to be shipped ORMD and can not be shipped by the USPS and these were.

These matches in my experience would place second against the gold standard; “Ohio Blue Tip” strike anywhere matches, which sadly is no longer available. The Diamond match compound appeared harder, and more difficult to ignite. It took 3 strikes against the cast iron stovetop grate before It ignited. The very small dab of striking compound on the match head might have contributed to this. Surprisingly, the thin match stick was stronger than I first feared, and did not break during my limited test. There are striking strips on the match boxes, so finding a compatible striking surface (dry, hard, fine granulated surface) wouldn't be a problem. Other than for novelty and nostalgia, any camping match/box match would work, and at less cost.

These are good matches. They light up when struck and burn a good bit. The one issue is the stick is very flimsy and can snap as you're trying to strike it.
