Worth the extra IMO
Easy to use when compared to the basic model. Probably slightly more expensive bags but I like the convenience of not needing to tie a knot for the fresh bag every time.

This was a baby shower gift for my niece, but back in the dinosaurs age: 32 years ago, I had a diaper Genie %26 absolutely loved it thru my kiddos.

This diaper pail has worked well in our nursery. The only time there is a smell is when it is getting full and we push the petal to open the top and add another diaper. The bags do a great job of containing the smell when tied at the top during disposal and are very sturdy when holding all the full and heavy diapers.

We where gifted the diaper genie and so far it's been the best thing bc we are in a small room sharing a house with the in laws that don't like to have windows open so this helps keep the smell contained and the room and house smelling clean

Helpful in everyway
Locks in odor and keeps the nursery smelling fresh. Have used this with every kiddo I have, and always get this as a baby shower gift for other parents. Highly recommend the diaper genie

All models get confusing
I orders a signature pail and was gifted a ton of refills for our shower. Little did I know, there are several different kinds! This makes me a bit less excited about the product.

POINTLESS
Honestly the directions suck and the fact that you guys don’t have a 30 second video for it is wild especially since other people around the world have done it. Just shutting the top, it ripped the bag. This is pointless to buy. Plus you guys didn’t even ship a pod in mine to use.
