Solid overalls

Maya May 31, 2026

Solid pair of overalls in a thick canvas material. I am 5'5” and these days get size L or XL tops to fit my arms and same on bottoms to fit my thighs/waist. These are a bit long on my as shown in the photo and will take a bit to break in and be a little less stiff but that was the goal. At the buckle length for the strap shown in the picture it's a little tight when I bend down or sit but good when I'm standing. Took a video to show the fit at the waist but need to figure out how to upload it. Overall solid especially as I got them while they were on sale.

Cute but huge

Julia September 3, 2025

I'm always a size M so I was very surprised when these showed up with how large they are. While I appreciate a relaxed fit, I was drowning in these. I will be returning for size S or XS and hope for a better fit

Yeah, they're big, but…

Tracewok May 9, 2023

This is my fourth pair of Dickies bibs, and I have shortalls, too. First off, I'm petite- 5'3” 105 lbs. and normally take an XS in pants. Straight up and down, no waist, hips, or boobs. I knew beforehand that they'd big huge, and they are. BUT, I always wash in hot water and dry on high a few times to see if I can shrink them at all. If they're 100% cotton, they'll shrink a tad. The crotch is about 4-5” too low but, again, bibs are meant to be “roomy”. It's just so nice not to have to yank pants and deal with a belt when I'm working. I wear these almost year-round because it seems I'm always bending or crouching doing whatever. Length, you ask? HA. They are a good 5+” too long. To be honest, I don't want to bother hemming these or pay to have them altered, so I just go old-school and cut them off. Voila, simple and they look great. (Anybody else remember cut-offs and jeans in the 70's? I'm 71.) I have a striped pair, a denim pair, denim shortalls and I just got the rose ash—I was thrilled to see this color. I get complimented everywhere I go in them, whether it's to my friendly neighborhood hardware store or out ‘n about running errands. I decided to round out my collection with these black ones. Love them all. Oh, I did get a pair of shortalls in gray rip stop fabric, because they were offered in a SHORT version! They fit me perfectly and are a great weight. I have to admit I've spent hours scouring the Internet for another pair of XS Short—anything—but apparently they don't have them available. I find this really frustrating, especially considering that nearly everybody who reviews these comments on the outrageous length. (That is, of course, unless you're really tall.) So, aside from being fairly expensive and huge, I love ‘em. I really wish there were other colors—RED, for example. Or purple, or Kelly green, or…I'd buy them all.

Great fabric and color

Karen 48 April 10, 2022

The green is DUCK, 75% cotton, 25%poly. They have a great feel: soft and thick. The blue denim ones were much thinner fabric. They are long and waiting a few washes to see the shrink before hemming. I've gotten lots of compliments on these. Way more stylish than I expected.

So dang cute and functional

New to Montana February 10, 2019

I am glad I read reviews on sizing. I am 5'2 and 140, most weight is tum and bum. A small fits great, not tight or loose. Length is long but I know how to wield a needle. I can't wait to wear these with red danskos, cowboy boots, snow boots, chanclas... possibilities are endless.

Made in America a Timeless Name and product

Jtravel May 3, 2015

Yes Coveralls or overalls are back in as a fashion statement. I wore them in the 1970's as a flower child and the early 1980's. The stores and fashion lines begin to show this last year them so naturally I had to add a pair of Dickies to my overall wardrobe. These are reaL WORK coveralls but they are great for travel, and just running around. They are designed to endure a heavy workload but shopping and running around qualifies as that . If you are working on a construction site or just running around in something comfortable I recommend them!

Happy Gardener

Gardenella64 April 22, 2018

I bought the women's relaxed fit straight leg bibs (in indigo) for the purpose of backyard gardening chores. Jeans kept slipping off my middle aged flat butt. Leggings just get gross. So, bibs! These reviews were very helpful in finding my size. I bought a medium. I'm 5' 6" and weigh in the upper 150's. I washed them before wearing, the ink seemed fine. They are a bit long, but no problem. The straps are longer than I'll ever need, but no problem. If you are my height/weight...theyll be great. But(t) if you have a large womanly bottom, they may be snug. They loosen fine on me after wearing them for awhile, but I carry my weight in my belly. I love them. I wear them alot. Too much. ;-)

Good quality

Annie June 1, 2025

I am 5'2'' typically size s/m. I ordered these in a small and exchanged for an extra small because they were way too long. The extra small are very long on me, too, but manageable. I bought these for gardening and doing projects outside so they serve their purpose. They are a thick, stiff material— great for work. Lots of pockets.

Great bibs

Tammy6902 May 21, 2018

I bought these for working in the garden. I was looking to have something that wouldn't be tight in the legs or mid section, for ease of bending and kneeling. Would like to have reenforcedment in the knees. Unfortunately I am unable to take advantage of the heel reenforcedment due to the need to hem the bibs.(I am short) I ordered a xl, but could have ordered a large, but no regret in my order. I will be getting another pair for myself( I wash mine daily to use again the next day) and one for my mom. She also gardens and she loved how mine looked, the amount of pockets and the durability of the material.

Certified wedgie maker

kelley April 23, 2026

It's true. It does give you one heck of a wedgie. And if you're a short girl, you'll definitely need to hem them. Was bummed because they fit nice in the waist.
