can be better, still worth the purchase

Ray May 15, 2026

The wood fired style crust gives it a different texture than the usual thick frozen pizzas — it's thinner, a little crispier, and has that slightly smoky flavor that makes it feel more like restaurant-style pizza. The combination of sausage, pepperoni, and beef gives every bite a lot of flavor without feeling overloaded. What stood out most to me was how balanced it tasted. Some frozen meat pizzas go way overboard with grease and salt, but this one felt a little lighter while still being filling enough for dinner. It's great for nights when you want pizza without waiting for delivery or spending a ton. Pros: Wood fired style crust gets crispy and has great flavor Meat trio gives a good mix of savory toppings in every bite Quick and easy meal that feels a little more upscale than basic frozen pizza Cons: Smaller size may not be enough for a big family or multiple hungry people Crust can get too crispy if cooked even slightly too long Not as cheesy as some people may prefer Summary: Overall, this is one of the better frozen pizzas if you like thinner, crispier crusts and bold meat flavor without feeling overly heavy. It cooks fast, tastes surprisingly fresh for frozen pizza, and works perfectly for easy weeknight dinners or lazy weekends. Definitely a solid option to keep in the freezer when pizza cravings hit.

Best frozen pizza I've ever had

Haylee April 2, 2026

My family loves frozen pizza but I got burnt out %26 have always found them to be just average, so have been trying different options and these pizzas are actually amazing!! They taste like they came straight from a great pizza restaurant! We can't get enough of them!

Chewy crust

Vic August 7, 2025

I didn't hear favorable reviews about this line of digiorno but was curious because of the salami since I love that stuff. I thought the flavor was good as usual with Digiorno, I just wish there was more salami. The crust is thin and really crunchy after baking it on my oven rack as it says on the directions. The crust tasted just like a type of pizza I had that was ordered out from restaurants, it's SO chewy! You'll get a workout chewing the crust comparwd to any other frozen pizzas I've ever had. If you love that type of restaurant pizza where the crust is real chewy, you'll love this. I personally don't think I would get it again just for that, but like I said, this is definitely for people that love chewy pizza crusts. Don't forget to make some Garlic butter if you want it softer, that's what I did!

Not DiGiorno's best...

Celeste February 10, 2026

We usually love Digiorno, buy them all the time. So we thought we'd try this one; the Italian meat, wood fire style crust. We cooked it according to the box and the crust became this cardboard thing that just didn't belong under all that yummy topping. It was hard to bite thru, Mom with dentures couldn't get thru it without worrying about her teeth falling out. LOL Anyway, in the DiGiorno line up, this is at the bottom for us. We won't be buying it again. We like the croissant crust the best and continue to get that one when it's around.

We love DiGiorno Pizza but was greatly disappointed in this one. The favor was pretty bland, and the toppings were very scarce. We won't be buying this one or any of the Wood Fired pizzas. We gave 3 stars because it was a DiGiorno pizza, no other reason.

Meh…

Sierra July 3, 2026

I usually buy the classic DiGiorno pizzas, so I figured I'd give this one a try. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't a favorite. The wood-fired crust ended up being a little too thin and dry for me, and the overall flavor just didn't hit the same as the regular rising crust version. It cooked up easily and the toppings were decent, but if I'm wanting frozen pizza again, I'm sticking with the classic DiGiorno. This one was just kind of…meh.

I ORDERED DIGIORNOS RIDING CRUST THREE MEAT PIZZA AND RECEIVED THIS INSTEAD?! NO NO NO! Finally Walmart had gotten my “FAVORITE” pizza back in stock.. RISING CRUST 3meat BUT they changed the sauce and it's nothing that I will EVER buy again!!! DIGIORNOS, WHY DID YOU RUIN A GREAT PRODUCT?! THE SAUCE IS NOW TANGY/TO SPICY AND THEY USE wayyyy TOO MUCH SAUCE! Sorry, but no thank you! Been buying for years and no more :(

Taste like wood. So disappointing

Whitney November 25, 2025

I love Digiorno and have always bought their pizzas BUT this wood fire style is so disappointing and bad tasting. Taste like you're eating raw wood and the only thing good is the crust. The toppings and cheese are not tasty and are so bland. Sauce is nasty and not like regular DiGiorno. I won't be buying this again

You're Fired for this Wood Fired Nastiness

Pebbles November 16, 2025

This pizza looked bad from out of the box, pepperoni was all ripped apart, it looked really small. The taste was disgusting, crust wouldn't separate as I tried to chew it, had a chemical taste, and a weird smell when it came out of the oven. Bad pizza, nasty, don't waste your money on this!
