Digipower Super Star Essential Vlogging Kit, with LED Light, Microphone, Tripod and Mount

This is the best Camera tripod for doing at home cooking videos and demonstrations with ease. I especially love the remote which allow you to stop and start your video or snap a picture without touching your phone. I think is a good quality vlogging kit with the best ever lighting you can get. This is a must buy for any one that uses social media.

Pros: tripod works well, has grippy feet, sturdy, great light, easy to add filters to the light, easy to use and pair remote, light is rechargeable, microphone works great Cons: instructions are lacking how to assemble most components The Superstar Essentials Vlogging Kit is great! The kit is half easy to put together and half figuring it out on your own but it does work well and it's easy to use! The instructions that it came with don't describe every function or how to assemble every piece in the kit but the instructions for those parts it does discuss are straightforward. The tripod itself has a Bluetooth remote attached in one of the legs. That pops out and then is able to pair with your phone so you can use the phone shutter camera with the click of that remote, or you can stop and start a video with the remote-control button click. That was easy to both pair and figure out. Next you can either mount a camera or your phone to the tripod by using the phone mount for the phone and then the phone mount and the screw provided for a camera. The instructions walk you through using the light diffusers, describing the purpose of each one. These diffusers clip to the light very easily and also work well. The instructions tell you can use the microphone with either the camera or the phone and has a slider for each, this very straightforward to set up. There is a random CR2 battery that I couldn't figure out where it went, that goes into the microphone. One important thing about the microphone is that when you want to play back the video, unplug the microphone from the phone or the sound won't work. The microphone works well, the sound quality is very nice. The instructions also do not tell you how to attach the arm that holds the microphone or the light. I basically used the picture on the box to see how and what they used to get it on the tripod. This is also straightforward when looking at the picture. The light is very bright and easy to operate. It has a little button on the side that if you hold it long enough the light will come on, and if you hold it long enough when on it will power off; I had to discover that myself. The light is also rechargeable and it comes with a charging cord for it, the port is on the bottom. The tripod itself Is sturdy, easy to rotate and has nice grippy feet. My phone fits into the phone holder perfectly and securely. With the screw at the side, you can adjust the camera or phone very easily whenever needed. I have a mystery button battery left over, and after consulting the instructions and the box I finally decided to hop on the manufacture website. This also did not help me figure anything out further, the manual doesn't exist and the promotional videos don't discuss assembly. I'm guessing it's an extra for the remote, but who knows. All in all, this kit is great Vlogging KIT! There were a lot of components that I had to figure out on my own, but the microphone works great, the tripod is also great, I like the light, and it holds my phone well. The remote also works really well paired to my phone. There isn't anything I don't like about this entire setup once together. I would absolutely recommend it!

I received this Digipower Super Star Essential Vlogging Kit, with LED light, microphone, tripod and mount and I'm really happy with it. I thought their was an issue with the microphone at first but then I realized that it has a switch that says camara and phone and if you are using your smartphone like I am you put it on phone not on camara and that was the error I was making and that made me think it was defective but it's not!!! I like the 3 color diffusers that are included to create different lightning effects. It makes your video change!!! and I also loved the compact multipurpose tripod because it features a Removable built-in Bluetooth remote and a Smartphone / Action Camara Holder. The only con I can find in this product is that it is Lightweight and it's a little flimsy but if you are cautious you should do great with it! The 50 LED light it's great as well, it's just the right amount of light needed for videos or pictures and the diffusers are Awesome!!! I highly recommend this product to everyone who likes making videos! You won't regret buying this one!!! :)

This vlog kit is just what a beginner vlogger needs. It has all the basic things you need. As for me, I use for my cooking vlog on Instagram. I used to have difficulties in taking videos of myself cooking with perfect angles and good quality sound. With this vlog kit, the tripod legs are sturdy and strong enough to hold your iPhone (currently I have iPhone 11), and you can Adjust it to the angles you want with ease. It has a microphone that you can plug in to your iPhone adapter to support your surroundings sounds. And it has lighting that comes in 3 different diffuser. There are white for softer lighting, blue for cooler background, and yellow for warm tone background. Simply hold the side button for 2 secs to turn on the light, very convenient. It also comes with remote control that can be paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth. Because I'm very new to this vlog world, I found it hard to assemble this kit; it took me about 20-30 minutes to figure things out. I played around with this kit for a day and got the hang of it quickly. Definitely an investment for a beginner in the vlog world, so I highly recommend it!

Great! Has all of the accessories necessary for immediate VLogging for initial setup! Really good quality of material and build. I really like the design - everything is practically self-contained for ease of portability. Happy that I purchased two at this price!

This vlogging kit is great. I use it to make videos of myself working on my cars. It's a great way to document your hobby and share what you love doing with other people. It was really easy to put together. You don't need any tools, and it's pretty self explanatory. I recommend reading the instructions before you put it together. I am really glad that this thing came with instructions, lol. The pieces that you need to use your phone are tucked in the back of the legs of the tripod. I honestly thought that they were missing until I looked at the instructions that came in the box. I really like the microphone, I just plugged it into my phone in the headphone jack, and it worked really well. The sound quality was great. The tripod is really easy to use, and is really convenient when trying to film in a hard to reach spot

I've only hooked it up and tried it for a test run so far, preparing to use it for labor and delivery vlog. So far everything was nicely packaged and easy to set up. However, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and lost my 3.5 adapter from my 7 years ago so I was not able to connect the microphone for audio but still recorded audio without it. Keep this in mind for people with no 3.5 jacks on newer phones. Not a huge problem, but you'll need the adapter which is not included to use the microphone.

Pros for this item include: 1. The tripod won't tip over even when the camera is leaned as far as it can go. 2. The microphone is noticeably better than my camera's microphone. 3. Easy to connect to my Samsung phone. The only con is that the lighting requires an alternate USB power source not included on my phone. All in all, it makes a nice companion for recording!

I see that many people are complaining that the microphone light isn't working, mine didn't either. So I pulled out the product's supplied battery and tested it, about 3.3 volts, which is the specification according to my research. After some more poking around I discovered that I installed the battery incorrectly, that is, backwards. “Come on, how stupid are you?” When the battery compartment is open, there is a natural tendency to put the PLUS end in first due to the somewhat similar design of a flashlight where the plus end goes in first. The only marking is stamped into the inside of the case without any contrasting, so it was difficult to see. Plus, both ends of the battery holder have battery contacts that are “spring” like in their appearance, another clue to throw you off. As others have mentioned, the directions a very limited. For example, there is no mention that the microphone even requires a battery. They just put a battery in the box and you're supposed to figure out where is goes. For the light operations (another thing not mentioned), “press and hold” the power switch until it turns “ON,” repeat for “OFF.” There are also 3 intensities for the light. Once the light is on, a quick “press and release” cycles through the different settings. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that is inside an OTTERBOX Defender case. The spring loaded phone holder will NOT accommodate this size device. It looks like it would work if I took the iPhone out of the case, but I didn't try. One star off for REALLY crappy instructions, another star off for it not being able to accept my phone configuration. Think about how many returns they had to eat because of the incorrect battery installation due to these instructions, or should I say, lack there of.

This might be an ok starter kit for a child but for a teenager or adult I would not recommend it at all. It's very basic and minimal and works just the same as something you could set up DIY. Microphone uses an aux cable. This was a bit of a hassle to set up and did not come with directions. The piece that holds the camera was hidden in the tripod and difficult to remove and the camera holder does not fit larger phones (iPhone 7+). I could not get my camera to sit evenly (arm is wobbly) The part to open the battery on the tripod is extremely difficult to open. The light and microphone quality are okay. Overall I do not recommend this item.
