This was great. It was super easy to set up and take down and kept our DVD player in a location where all of the kids could see it and not just in front of one person.
So easy to set up. Love it!
This thing was great. We used it on a road trip from Portland, OR, to Anaheim, CA. It worked perfectly in our 2001 Subaru Forester. It is very sturdy and does not move at all. Before, we were having to rig a way to mount the bag that was included with our dvd player. It sat so low that my kids were very uncomfortable watching it. Now with where the MoGo puts the player, they can sit upright and watch movies. I am so glad I bought this and would gladly recommend it to others.
Maybe i didn't read closely enough, but i thought this would connect to the back of a single headrest (drivers or passenger), but it connects to both. the unit hangs in between the headrests. A little different than what i expected, but in some ways, it's better. now my kid has no chance of kicking it, because it is further away. It does require the viewer to angle their head to watch, but it's not too bad. Only used it once so far, but no problems. stayed on for 3 hours of driving, easy to connect/disconnect. best price i've seen for any type of DVD car mount system.
i think this product is great! it clipped right around the two headrests in my subaru tribeca with ease. it did not slip off or create any problems. i have an 18 month old and we took a 12 hour road trip to the outer banks. my daughter is pretty fussy in the car on a regular basis and this really helped keep her occupied for at least half of the ride each way. it is slightly bouncy, but nothing that would take away from being able to watch what program was on. she was entertained and we were happy! i would say this is a great buy!
It's a platform that sits betwen the headrests. Nothing spectacular, but it does it's job. The only issue that I have with it is that it is set up so that that the keyboard is indended to face towards the back seat (which would certainly be normal). However, we have a young kids (3 & 5 years old). They can't change the DVD player, esp seat-belted in as they should be. So we have a DVD player with a swivel screen, the screen faces back, and keyboard faces towards the front seat, so my wife can swap DVDs from the front seat. System works great. I only wish that this plat-form thing had some sort of lock so that it doesn't matter which way the closures on the headrests were. At this point, if we stop suddenly, the potential is that it could smack me in the back of the head due to the closures. Granted, this is better than flying the other way, and flying towards my children. But a FULL CLOSURE would be ideal. So I give this 80%.
I saw this product on several websites and in a few stores. Best Buy was selling the exact product for about double the price. Walmart's price was the best and I like the Site to Store pickup. It's a decent product for holding a portable DVD player in a car. Our DVD players had other attachments that broke, so we had to buy a new one and this works pretty well. For the price, I would say it meets expectations.
Worked great for our 15 hour road trip. Can be set up and taken down within about a minute. Was at a great level for my kids...they didn't have to look down to see (like some other mounts I considered). The only issue was that I couldn't walk to the back of the mini-van without taking down the mount. And I also thought it was a bit pricey for the simplicity of it. Other than that, it worked super!
I wasn't quite sure what this product was. It hooks on to two head rests and then you put the DVD player on it. There is an elastic strap that hold it in. It did not cover the opening so my daughter could change the discs by herself. I really liked the car mount and found it super easy to use. The only problem was that it bocks the drivers rear view a bit because the DVD player is sitting about even with the head rests. You have to get used to it.
This product only works with a laptop style portable DVD player, not the flat kind that normally strap to the back of a headrest. I read reviews that this was adjustable and rotated and I assumed that that meant from horizontal to verticle but it means from left to right. It would be a great product if I had the laptop style player but since I don't I am returning it. If you do purchase this product for your laptop style dvd player, it doesn't come with assembly instructions and all of the arms are folded all up in the base so make sure you extend the arms all the way out so that you can engage the pivot feature of this. If it doesn't pivot your arms aren't extended all the way out. I have a Honda Odessey and this fit perfectly between the seats. It doesn't matter if the seats are adjusted one all the way forward and one all the way back, it pivots enough to compensate.
