Getting it setup the first time was a bit annoying. It took several tries to get rid of the whistle. The biggest issue was getting the device seated in my ear correctly. It took a bit but now it seems good. When I first got it in and things were working I started hearing a steady beat, my first thought was it was my hearbeat, but then I figured out it was the clock on the wall ticking. It was cool hearing that. I knew that it had a tick because I could hear it when close, but I was across the room from it. The tinnitus function just generates white noise, I don't know how good that will be for me. Most of the time my tinnitus doesn't bother me, but some days it is real annoying. I can hear the click of my keyboard as I type this. My biggest gripe is that the box has a sticker that say's See Bigger E-Manual. I assume the QR code takes me to the web site. The included manual is adequate but light on details. For example it doesn't say to listen for 1, 2, 3, or 4 beeps for the 4 programs. Controlling the volume takes a bit of getting used to. I suppose once I get it dialed in I won't need to change it much. I'm hearing sounds now that I didn't hear much before, like the air blowing out the heating vents. I could do without that, but its better to hear than not. My hearing loss is more in the high frequencies so program 3 seems good for now. I only ordered the right one to get started and see if it would work. The left one will be ordered soon.

This one is also easy to put on and take off. It can be installed and turned on wirelessly without having to repeatedly adjust the volume. I think it is good to have memory function. After all, my father is a big man who is afraid of trouble, so this is quite suitable for the elderly.
