Dimplex Bfrc-Kit 3-Stage Remote Control Kit For Select Dimplex Models

We were adding a wall to our great room and decided to get an electric fireplace verses a gas fireplace. We have never used an electric fireplace before and we were really pleased with our Dimplex 33 inch. It's clean and simple to use. The wall remote makes it nice and we like the option of using batteries instead of hardwiring the remote. So nice. We love the realistic flame and if we could afford it (maybe later), we would love to have a free standing electric fireplace in each room. It really saves on your heat pump and you get heat on demand without the wait.

Seemed at first to be unnecessarily complex but one we figured it out, it is really easy and perfect. Definitely makes this easy to operate. I debated buying this as unnecessary but highly recommend it with this unit. It works great!

Was helped by phone with great customer service. The part was correct and easy to install. Price was great so was the speed of delivery.

It does not have timer delay, but easy to operate, attractive design. I think this switch is better than a conventionnal remote.

Unfortunately, this is not what we wanted in a remote. If you only need a basic on-off control without any heat setting ability it's fine. We are returning it for a different model. I truly wish, when ordering on the website, the drop down option for a remote was more than just a yes or no. I'd rather have had the option of choosing the remote that we wanted. When I ordered the complete fireplace, with glass doors and remote, this is not what I thought we were getting. Now, I have to return it and get the correct one. Fortunately, customer service is amazing and very helpful.
