Heavy package and had to hire someone to put together because I wanted everything put together perfectly...exactly what we wanted in our new home...simply lovely 😍

I love everything about this fireplace!! it was very easy to follow the directions and set up the unit. The mantel is perfect! The stone was very well done! The flame is so very real!! No second thoughts here!!!

I wasn't sure whether to give it 4 or 5 stars but gave it 5 stars based on the Mantels Direct price. It makes my living room feel cozy, but I wish the stone looked more realistic. It has a stonelike feel, but it's obvious the "stones" are painted concrete. It does not look like the marketing photos. The firebox has beautiful flames and produces good, adjustable heat. Assembly was straightforward but requires two people. Some of the pieces are VERY heavy. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Easy to assemble and pleased with flame appearance

We bought this and received it within 10 days. It comes via freight on a palate, so be prepared to lift it into your house yourself. My husband and I were able to lift the two boxes fine. It took my husband less than an hour to completely assemble. The directions are a little vague, but most people can figure out how it goes by looking at the pictures. There were no pre-drilled holes to attach the insert in, so he just drilled some and attached with screws. The color is more taupe, less gray. The faux texture is nice. It was a nice, fast, inexpensive alternative to a custom built fireplace. We love it so far!

Have really liked this fireplace look but I, in my opinion, didnt anHave really liked this fireplace look but I, in my opinion, did an upgrade. The stone was too bland and fake looking. I took some neutral colors, brown, gray, rust and dry brushed some areas of the stone to give it a more natural look. I also have darker wood, so I re-stained the mantle, and added around the outside to make it look more built in. It baffles me why on a fireplace this expensive they would put cheap reflective glass. Love it! It is exactly as pictured and beautiful! The wait was very long but worth it. I had an older fireplace and the logs and flames looked much more realistic though. I wish they still had that insert. That is my only disappointment.

I am pleased with my purchase, I have a fireplace I bought on line about 5 yrs ago but when I got it, it was smaller than what I looked this one is a nice size I like the fire, my only disappointment is that it does not have a timer like my old one, I had thought when it said it has a remote, there would be a timer as my old one the timer is on there. It doesnt have a hearth but I could tell that by the picture and planned that I would have my contractor build that. I cant comment on the warrentee as I have not used it so one cannot say how good it is as far as they repairing or whatever would happen there. The quality seems good and the appearance is like the picture posted online. So we are pleased with ours.

The flame is not as natural as I thought it would be. Does not have a 3-D brick inset look. Heat does not do as well as my old fireplace and this one's supposed to have a higher rating. Overall nice but not what I expected.
