Diner Dash 5: Boom!: Collector's Edition

If you are not a technical person, then the disc does not work on a regular Windows machine. This is because the installer tries to reach out to a licensing server that does not exist anymore. So, you'd have a game that refuses to install properly, then asks for a license key. There is a workaround, Linux with Lutris. If you have an old computer (or any, really), install at least a dual-boot with Windows and Linux like Ubuntu. Then if you install the open-source game manager Lutris, the installer actually works if you install Diner Dash 5: BOOM! executable on the disc with the Windows XP 32-bit Installer Preset, it actually installs properly. (after installation, go to the settings and change the Executable path from "UNWISE.EXE" to the "game -> Diner Dash 5 - BOOM.exe" and also set the Prefix Architecture to 32-bit. I am really happy to get it working, but I program computer applications for my career. If someone isn't Linux savvy, the disc is almost useless. Once all of that has been done, so far the game actually runs decently, not perfectly but works.
