DINTY MOORE Beef Stew, Shelf-Stable, 38 oz Steel Can

I really like the flavor of this stew. It is thick and hearty with nice chunks of beef. Sometimes on a cold winter day, this just fills the bill. Only takes a couple minutes to heat it either in microwave or on stove top. If I make my own beef stew it takes hours to cook. This is so much easier and the flavor is great.

I'm not sure i like split orders since you have no control over time of second delivery. I pick a time to make sure im there at delivery. Random deliveries are a problem. I was alerted it was on its way and would arrive in 15 minutes. 😳 I do otherwise really like delivery since we are both disabled so it's really been a blessing for us. The soup is very good and hearty! Have eaten it for many, many years.

I found out the hard way, that you must be very careful when ordering that you select the proper size can you wish to receive! I have 2 jumbo cans in my cupboard, and my wife can't eat it 1 One small can for me is a perfect size meal, Easy prep ,no waste! Satisfies my meat desire!

If I am in a pinch for a quick dinner after a long day, this is something easy that you can eat alone, put over rice or mashed potatoes. Sometimes if I need it to go further I add in a can or mixed vegetables or even some broccoli. My family never complains, especially if I cook up some grilled cheese sandwiches!

I Always Bought Another Brand Of Beef Stew , And I Had Never Tasted Dinty Moore , But A Family Member Recommened Dinty Moore A Few Years Ago. And I Tried It , And I Have Purchased It Alot Since Then. I Actually Like It Alot, We Like To Have Our Beef Stew With Saltine Crackers. And This Beef Stew Tastes Delicious That Way. I Highly Recommend.

Dinty Moore is good tasting stew. It has good, large chunks of quality beef and vegetables and is very easy to use - just warm it up in a pan on the stove or in the microwave. It goes really well with rice. We add frozen corn to give it additional texture and to stretch each can a bit. It seems to be a really good value, too.

I don't cook much anymore but I used to use it as a base for making chili which was a bit of a long drawn out process but the end result was part of Dinty Moore stew which was part of my secret. Now you know part of my secret;) It's a good cheap meal. There's not as meat in it as there used to be but still fairly good for the price.

I have been eating Dinti Moore beef stew for years and I still like it but the price keeps rising and there is less beef in it than there use to be , Thats why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 like I use to give. I realize the price of beef is ski rocketing but don't ruin your product raise the price. I will eat less because I can't afford as much but at least when I do buy it I will like it still. If you keep putting less and less meat and potatoes in it I will stop buying it all together and start making my own at home when I am in the mood for beef stew

It wasn't close to expiration date but when opened it didn't look like the stew I had bought in smaller cans of this brand. This can had no gravy to it and the colors was off. It was chunked together and after heating it still stayed chunky and what should have been a more like brown liquid was like you dumped lard all in it. Lard more than anything. Took a sample taste %26 was pure nasty. Thrower away. Will not buy again. Such a disappointment.

To really make this can "pop" with more flavor, I always have to add in Mixed Vegetables, the more the better! Sadly, Just the can itself, lacks a lot of veggies. Pour over rice to make it a bigger meal as well. But in all honesty, if it came in a Great Value can, I'd rather pay that price than this.
