Dirt Devil Breeze Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner, UD30005B

I had one 5 years ago and it was excellent. it got lost in a move.hot a Bissell and wasn't quite the same surely it broke less than a year. Now i got my dirt devil and its awesome. the ability to pick up quickly without going over it 2 times.had to order online, wished it was in store.

WOW - this is a great inexpensive Vacuum Cleaner! I already own an expensive Oreck Upright Bagged Vacuum Cleaner which I love. I needed a second vacuum cleaner for my house. I didn't want to use the expensive Oreck vacuum cleaner for my husband's bonus room and for the rug on my screened porch to vacuum up bugs, spilled food crumbs, etc. Well, I have been very pleasantly surprised at how well this inexpensive Dirt Devil Breeze Upright Bagged Vacuum Cleaner works! This Dirt Devil has a very strong suction and vacuums very well. It is lightweight, maneuvers easily and the handy accessories for the hose work very well. I do not find this vacuum any nosier than most upright vacuum cleaners. I am over using Bagless Vacuum Cleaners. They are messy and inconvenient having to clean the filter (which is all the time) or the vacuum loses its suction and strains the vacuum motor. So much easier to take off the full bag, throw it away, place a new bag on the vacuum and you are good to go! I like this Dirt Devil Vacuum Cleaner so much I am using it all over the house!! Some of the reviewers complained and I am not sure what they were unhappy with. My Dirt Devil works fantastic!! Now I am not sure how long it will last but for the inexpensive price I am not expecting miracles! One reviewer had stated that there is no ON/OFF Switch. There IS an ON/OFF switch at the base of the machine next to where the power cord comes out of the vacuum. It is a grey plastic foot pedal that is very easy to use. Another reviewer had stated that the power cord is in the way because it comes out at the bottom of the vacuum. Most bagged upright vacuums have the power cord coming out of the base of the vacuum. All you do is loosely loop-tie the cord around the base of the handle and it stays out of the way and this prevents undue pulling on the cord. So, overall I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner. If it isn't abused it should hold up well for quite some time. And for the low cost, this Dirt Devil exceeded my expectations.

We have gone through 3 or 4 vacuum cleaners trying to find one that worked on hardwood as well as pile rugs. From very expensive to this one. This does the job very well. We are amazed at how quickly the initial bag filled up from the dust and accumulation that the others missed. A bonus is the weight, very easy to move around. The only negative is the cord. We finally taped it to the top which made it easier to move around without tangling the cord. Highly recommend.

Very satisfied with my dirt devil. It so light, that seems to vacuum on its own.

Easy to assemble, light weight, has a long cord, and handy attachments. Good buy for the price.
