Dirty Dancing Official Dance Workout

I just got this dvd for Christmas but danced to it and love it! Some of the dances are a bit difficult but there are different levels of instructions so you can go from beginner to a great workout. I workout daily and wanted something different but I look forward to dirty dancing often =)

I wasn't very impressed with this one. The steps are difficult and fast paced, but I don't feel like I am getting a work out. I NEVER work out and I didn't even break a sweat. I am not sore the next day. This makes me believe the workout wasn't targeting very many muscles. Just targets cardio for me.

Moves are somewhat difficult to learn. Instructors go through them too fast. Need to slow down for beginners.

I was expecting to learn some cool dance moves to share with my wife on date night but was very disappointed, it's titled dirty dancing after the movie but there is nothing close to resembling the dirty dance moves from the movie. If you plan on not holding your partner while you dance then this would be a good video to choose.

I bought this dvd thinking that it would be great fun for my 16 year old daughter and I I am bout 20 lbs over weight and my daughter perfectly fit works out 3 to 4 times a week and I figured it was time for me to get it togather. Its awful! You feel like a loose noodle, I have done the workout like 5 times already and still cant get the steps so you feel like your just flopping all over the place. Maybe I am just not coordinated enough...lol But i have been looking for a FUN workout to do and this is definately NOT fun, maybe I should have bought dancing with the stars... but i would not recommend spending your money on this one.
