This product has several options to build and create different items that work off of electrical circuits. It does take quite a few batteries. We bought it for our 9 year old grandson (almost 10) and he enjoyed it although he mastered all of them in about 30 minutes. He is extremely exceptional in this type of item so it may take longer for others to figure out.

Perfect for kids who are curious and love to explore. It keeps my children from staying too long on the computer.

It was a gift for my son for Christmas and he will be very happy with it exactly what I was looking for.

My nephew plays with this for hours.

I am happy to say everything was thoroughly explained. It was so easy to put together. Putting wires together to get things to light up and function was a real confidence booster. He pretty much did it all on his own, as it wasn't too complicated like some other kits we've bought. I would definitely recommend this product for any kid older than 6.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a cute experiment but was made with cheap material and was harder for the kids to put together themselves. I had to do most of it. Still easy to do and was for a cheap price. So it's worth what you paid for it!

Cheap... pieces are falling apart and it was just opened. It also really needs a storage container because there are many small pieces and the box doesn't have any separate compartments.
