Discovery #MINDBLOWN Unicorn Crystal Grow LED Set, Includes Growing Solution, Tools, LED Light, and More

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter loves unicorns, so this was a great activity for both of us. We followed the directions and had fun watching it grow over time. The whole time I got to explain to her the science behind crystals. We loved it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discovery Crystal Growing LED Unicorn was fun. My daughter loved doing this kit. We had fun doing the whole process. Easy to follow instructions. It's suggested to let the unicorn sit for 7-10 days. At day 7 we checked the unicorn and decided we would go for 10 days. I'm glad we did. The crystals really started growing taller. We took the unicorn out of the solution and let it dry for 24 hours then added it's LED light. My daughter was so happy. She was so excited that she grew the crystals. Not to mention it's growing on her favorite creature. Which would be a Unicorn. I enjoyed this growing kit as much as my daughter. It was very interesting. I'd definitely recommend trying this kit with your children or even just for yourself.

Of course it took days to bring to life but she's so proud and honestly it looks so cool with the light on. She sleeps with it on her nightstand. My only complaint would be for the light to last longer. So cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoyed doing this craft with my child he really thought it was cool that the dragon glows! Was a bit messy but really enjoyed bonding and crafting with my kid. Definitely I must get for children that like Hands-On creative toys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little crystal growing unicorn is pretty cool! It was easy enough to get set up, and cool to watch grow over the course of a week. You just paint some glue on the mane and tail, mix up the solution with boiling water, and pop the unicorn in when it cools. Then wait and watch the magic happen! We took it out of the solution today and were pretty impressed with all of the growth! I do feel like there could have been a few improvements to the kit though. A pair of tongs to use to place the unicorn in the solution and remove it would have been helpful. Also instructions on what to do with the solution when it's finished? I have no idea if its safe to pour down the drain or what. Aside from that, it's definitely been a fun little project and we are looking forward to displaying our cool crystal unicorn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I did this as a project to help understand a lesson we were doing on crystal formation. The instructions were clear and had side bits of educational information. The dragon was a bit smaller than anticipated but it made sense when we had to put it into the tank. It was a bit messy and the two large bags of crystals provided was more than enough. The 10 day wait to pull the dragon out of the water was the hardest. It didn't come out like the photo and I think its because crystals formed at the bottom of the tank and lifted the top of the dragon out of the water. Perhaps if the instructions said how much of the crystals to add to the tank, it would have helped. The water was so dark that it appeared they were completely dissolved even after stirring an additional 5 minutes. The light show was nice. We like that there are different colors and the fact you can turn it off when not in use.
