Disney and Pixar Lightyear Hyperspeed Series Zyclops & Pods

My son found the Disney Pixar LightYear Zurg Mothership Hyperspeed Series used at a thrift store, missing the drop pods. These replacement pods are as advertised and arrived promptly. One pod has a button on the bottom and opens when dropped. The other pod has a “worn paint” look to it, as if damaged and needs to be pried open. My son loves both types.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My seven year old son LOVES these. He's excited about the movie more so now than before he played with the set. He received the buzz toy and the two pods with characters in them. He and his friend played with them for hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for a kid who is looking to create their own space adventures. The Pods open up and the Zyclops goes inside. When the pod is closed it reminds me of a rocket ready for blast off. This was good to play with the Buzz Lightyear figure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Lightyear toy is pretty awesome. Pod will open up when ypu drop it on a flat surface. Pod 2 does not Open when you drop it but you can pull it open. It's a little rough trying to open it but it's nice because it stays open after you open it. The bad guys can only fit in the pods one way. There's 2 prongs at the bottom of each pod. 1 peong is bigger and 1 is smaller. Tge bad guys have the holes in the bottom of their feet and they stay snug and secure. The toys will really let you childs imagination run wild!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Disney Lightyear fan; I am glad Mattel came out with these figures. They a are very good quality and I like all the movable parts. I like that this set has pods you can add to the figures; that makes it fun.

Buzz Lightyear seems to be the one who knows, and my sons had a number of entertaining afternoons using these the pods to transform their room into a space adventure! It took a minute for them to understand how these pods work, as they operate different from each other, and at the moment since they did not see the movie, there wasn't any "context for play". Aside from that, they had a great time with Zyclops and Pods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are super cute and my son was excited to play with them! One of them is “new” and will open when you drop it on the floor, which it cool. Sometimes one of the sides stays up. The other is “old” and has scratches and does not open on it's own when dropped. We haven't seen the movie yet to know if there's a reason one is broken, but it would have been nice if they both had this cool opening feature. And they still could have a new and old look to them.

The boys loved dropping the pods on the ground to open. The other pod had to be opened by hand. They loved putting the Zyclops in the pods. Well made and recommend for children 5 and older.

He is not a big lightyear fan, so he didn't understand why the zyclops did not have heads! He was intrigued with the pod and putting the zyclop in it. However, he lost many of the pieces in our house. It would be nice if this cam with a case to keep all the parts together.
