This little boy's racing car toy box is so cute. It was really very easy to put together, especially when I followed directions instead of trying to put it together my way. There is a reason for instructions. I wanted to put all four sides together and then the lid. Well I had to take the left hand side back off, then put the lid on because it would not line up correctly. Then everything fit together perfectly. All that was needed was a Phillips and a flat head screw driver. the hardest part that is for me, was putting that spring on to attach the lid to the back. Once the 4 screws were loose enough, and I had everything all lined up that part went smoothly. The surface on the outside is very smooth, slick and shiny. A very nice little toy box indeed, definitely a good first toy chest for a little boy. It wipes clean with just a damp cloth. It has a really nice shine with little race cars all over it. I would highly recommend this as a nice addition to a little boy's room and it definitely would make a great gift. I give it an overall rating of a 5.

what a wonderful and useful piece of decor for our sons room. hes 5 and wanted his room done in lightning McQueen. so thats what we did. it is kinda small for thw price. big toys take up to much room. so his smaller ones went in and big toys got put under his bed. but the soft close latch works great. no fingers get smashed. it is so brighly colored and shiny. its super sturdy. hes had it over a month now and not a scratch. took me 15 minutes to put together. and the money ends up being worth it for the quality it has. beautiful paint work. and strong wood. its his favorite new piece of furniture now. he made place it where he can see if from his bed at night. and it does hold all his small toys perfectly. very happy with this purchase. came extremely well packaged to ensure no damage during shipping as well. arrived on time.

Every nice it is the prefect size for my soon to be 4yr old, a little small as I said Previously on my review with the Spider-Man toy box, but my baby love it's not meant for big bulky toys but works perfectly for a collection of cars and medium size toys and we always love how you can set the bigger toys on top.

This is a cool toy box. It's beautiful, bright, shiny, colorful, durable, sturdy, etc. My nephew fell in love with it the first day he saw it. Before hand he was keeping his toys in a small brown card board box that wouldn't hardly hold all of his toys. But now that he has the Disney/Pixar Cars Deluxe Toy Box, he can put all of his toys in it and still have room for more toys. It measures approximately 24in. x 15in. I would recommend any parent to get this toy box for their child. That is if your child is a boy because it has a picture of a car on it and most boys play with cars.

When we received the toy box it was smaller than we expected however it was relatively easy to put together. Instructions that came with the box were easy to follow and all the pieces were intact. All in all, it took about 20 minutes to put the box together, although in reality it took a little longer as an excited toddler wanted to help fix his toy box too!! Images on the toy box were bright and fun and blended in well with my toddlers room. It has a rigid spring latch hinge to prevent lid from slamming shut especially with a 3 year old who is always accident prone. Although small, it still fits a decent amount of toys, and at the moment, my toddler is enjoying his car toy box so much he is willing to help tidy up before bedtime. The only down side for me is it weighs a little but this is to be expected with all wooden pieces which makes it sturdy.

This box took about an hour to assemble alone. Instructions were somewhat easy, but wooden parts are not labeled as noted in instructions. If you have big hands, screws are small, so they are hard to handle during assembly. The box was plenty sturdy and heavy, but is much too small for a toy box unless you only have a few small toys. At 14.50 x 23.50 x 21.50 inches it is just under 2 ft. long, not really big enough for many larger toys or stuffed animals. It may be ok for smaller kids with very few toys. This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. The decals are cute and attractive, and it makes a great seat or a table top to play board games on.

I was greatly looking forward to this toy box so I could stop using my laundry baskets for my grandchildren's toys. Well it seems I'll be using both :-). This toy box is quite small and not deluxe at all as stated in the description. In fact it's two inches smaller than my large laundry basket. But it is about an inch taller and is nicely made. I wish the parts had been identified with a sticker on them but it wasn't, so look carefully when putting the end pieces together. I had a little difficulty putting it together because the nut screws kept falling out of the holes making it a chore to keep putting them back in and then screw in the screw before they fall out again. Also when attaching the hinge you will need someone to hold the top because you put the bottom screws in first, then the top screws before tighten them. The good thing about this toy box is you only need a Flat and a Philip screwdriver. Also there are only seven pieces. It is nicely constructed and once put together has a little weight. It is very colorfully illustrated with the Disney Cars 3 vehicles. Any young child will adore this little toy box, however it just won't hold very much.

This toy box looks cool. But assembly was a major issue. One of the screws that came was stripped. Another screws thread was completely messed up at the end so bad I had to file it off. It is finally all put together after almost all day trying to get it to work. The packaging when opened had some dirt up in the foam pieces along with a nice chunk of grass that fell out. Making me believe this was returned once already.
