My son is five years old and wears a size small (6/7) . The medium size fits him perfect and allows him to have room to move in it. Most costumes have thick material and are too warm, but this one was perfect. The only issue was it did have a hole in it. I ended up sewing the hole up myself, but we still recommend. . This is not a "classic" Buzz Lightyear costume as advertised, hence the 3 star rating. It's a costume from the movie Lightyear, so the spacesuit style is different but you may not notice the difference from a distance. The costume runs true to size and is the usual thin polyester material.

Chest pops out

the sleeves should be sewn close. the puffed out chest looks weird and is uncomfortable.
