The was really good and it fulfilled my expectations. I made an online order and that process was as pleasing. The progress of the cake was entered. So, when it came time to pick up the cake, I was praying that it was ready. I also tried calling the bakery for a progress update but did not get an answer to my call. I gave 4 stars because although the experience was not great, my daughter loved her cake.
wish someone could of contacted me about their printer messing up and couldn't print the princess around the cake. they put rings instead. it was for a five year old. no biggie she loved it. cake was good. i appreciate going out their way to do something about it. A call would at least allow d me to also make a decision on a already paid for cake. you expect something and then get something else kind of deal.
The presentation wasn't as advertised - only one princess was on top. I was never asked to choose a certain Disney princess the store decided for me and surprised me upon pickup with the only princess of Moana atop the cake. Not at all as expected from the store photo.
The cake tasted good, and maybe I just had bad luck and the person in charge of decoration cakes that day didn't know what they were doing...but what I received looked nothing like what was pictured. Instead of three princesses, there was only one (Moana) in what can only be described as a hint of a swirl of icing for her skirt. And the piping around the cake was really sloppy. If my child were older, she'd probably be disappointed with the cake. Luckily, she's only 4. I ordered a second cake from Wal-Mart two weeks later (a How to Train your Dragon cake) that came exactly as pictured, that was meant to be half chocolate, half vanilla, but came entirely chocolate. It tasted fine (preferable to Publix, to be honest) but keep in mind you may not get exactly what you order. For the price its hard to beat, even if you have to temper your expectations a little.
The decorator at that time was terrible. Very unprofessional looking cake. I was embarrassed about the way it turned out as far as the little short dolls they had in there and it was not designed anywhere NEAR this picture. They confessed that there was no one remotely able to accomplish this and other specialty cakes on here even the name printed was not quality cake decor and skill so my event was ruined but the taste was good. Didn't matter presentation is EVERYTHING!! Too. As I do r have the picture I took with another phone.
It may have just been the cake artist but my cake was uneven and ripping apart. The top layer was literally splitting like Pangea. I had to rub icing in that spot every time the split got wider. Also the cursive writing on the cake was HORRIBLE lol I could barely decipher what I was reading. I purchased the cake for aesthetic purposes and pictures and it DID NOT deliver 😭
The cake we did get was not the one we ordered. They gave us some other Disney cake and it was plain. When I called they said I could return it but the party was planned shortly after the pickup. I am Not sure how they could have messed this up. I was really disappointed
The way this cake was decorated was absolutely beautiful. The cake inside was nice and fluffy, but I asked for cream on the inside and I did not get cream. Instead, I got more of the frosting that was outside inside. I don't know if they just ran out of cream and instead of alerting me they just decided to do that it was disappointing.
I was really excited that Walmart got new cakes finally…but unfortunately this design is too hard for the employees, I'm guessing?? It looked nothing like the picture…the princesses don't have any icing around them they're just randomly placed…the printed sheet it uneven and also bunched at the top, and the sheet that's on top isn't even advertised in the picture so I'm guessing they freestyle that part also the princesses didnt come wrapped around the cake either…a call would have been nice to know about ALL the tweaks because all in all I wasted my money on something we did not want hand picked by my daughter, not what she wanted but she's fine but I the paying, party I am not and I almost went for the 2 layer and I'm glad I didn't. Not sure if it was the location but this isn't the first time I've had issues in that department at that location (I forgot). in the nicest way please train or hire professionals because our cakes are not gambles they are for special occasions and need to be done exactly to the order not how they feel fit to make it. It's very pretty if this is what I wanted. I just did a quick search pretty sure it's the wrong cake completely!!
Absolutely unacceptable. The cake I ordered looked NOTHING like what was delivered. I paid for the design shown online – bright, detailed frosting “dresses,” beautiful piping, and clear decorations. Instead, I got a plain, sloppy white cake with three random plastic figurines stuck on top. It looks rushed, cheap, and nowhere near the promised quality. This was meant for a special occasion, and it was honestly embarrassing to present. The difference between the photo advertised and what I received is outrageous. I will not be ordering here again.
