[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for my two granddaughters that are 7 and 5 years old. They visit my house several times a week so I have toys to play with at my house. They love Barbies and are so excited for the new Little Mermaid movie.

What my granddaughter loved best it's unique doesn't look like other average Barbie dolls , she's a big fan of little mermaid and excited to play with doll .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the details in her hair and dress. The fabric is high quality and the two hair textures adds dimension and realistic features. Tip: keep the rubber bands on the shoes. It makes it the shoes harder to take off and lose among toy clutter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this toy arrived at my front door my daughter was so excited. Upon opening she squealed with delight at Ariel's hair and her pretty dress. She danced around the room with Ariel, put her in her doll house, showed her off to her other Barbie's, and all around loved this doll! Perfect doll for all ages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter loves this doll she even took the doll to the zoo with her today this doll has a removable dress and shoes and keeps her busy all day it's a wonderful edition to her doll collection and to the toys she plays with all the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters love love love the little mermaid on land doll. The hair looks exactly as it dies in the movie, with a mixture of braids and straight hair. They've both played with the doll but have gotten bored with it. The doll has movable arms and legs but the legs are quite stiff. Maybe an additional toy or change of clothes included to make it even more enjoyable to play with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Little Mermaid is an iconic story and a beloved princess by my young girls. I really appreciate the detail in the hair, clothes and the accessories. Basically a princess Barbie but Disney. I don't love the pivot by Disney to change the appearance of her hair from the bright red but that doesn't take away from the toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty doll. Looks very much like the Ariel from the film, even with the mole above her left eye. She has two types of hair - the top layer is yarn like and the bottom layer is like standard doll hair. She only bends at the shoulder and hips. The dress looks very much like the one from the film as well and she wears brown sandals. We have not seen the movie yet, so my daughter hasn't incorporated her much into play yet. I'm glad she doesn't have the articulated wrists that break easily like many of the newer Disney dolls (Zombies/Descendants). We have several one-handed Mals and Audreys.

They love to play with toys that offer realistic characteristics and this is exactly that. On top of that it pairs up with the movie which is of course and added bonus! Only thing it is missing is accessories.
