We decided on a floor bed for our boy toddler. Definitely a theme he is into and was decently easy for a mom to assemble. He stayed in it for months before he would even dare to get out of it without someone to come getting him and had no trouble transitioning from bed to crib! We were seriously so shocked! He does get out of it now sometimes but also will go back in on his own. So it's easy to get in and out of and I don't have to worry about him rolling out!
My 20 month year old son was really happy to get out of his crib. We had a 3 in 1 crib that could turn into a toddler bed but we knew he would want to get away from his prison all together. Bed was easy to put together. I love the design, really happy I went with this over the plastic one. Also like the raised sides so he doesn't roll out. He likes to jump on the bed so the mattress being right on the ground is perfect. Would recommend this bed to anyone.
The bed is actually more sturdy than I had expected. It is a better quality than I thought it might be and we are really pleased. I like that it sits on the floor and doesn't take up a lot of space. Also nice that even with the mattress inside the sides still come up above it so our 21 month old feels cozy like he did in his crib. Great bed.
Not only is it a sturdy (and great looking) bed, but it works perfectly for that transition phase (from the crib to bed) due to the full length "rails". We've only had it a few weeks but I couldn't be happier with it. Setting it up is super easy too (as easy as can be with a 14 month old crawling all over everything), and again, it's very sturdy. We were going to go with one of those plastic corvette deals, but the wife wanted this one and frankly, she totally nailed it. All you need is a standard crib mattress and some bed sheets, and your little man will be happy as a clam.
I purchased this toddler bed for my grandson who is 3. He likes it but when he turns from side to side he sometimes hits the side of the bed frame. Since it's hard, it hurts sometimes, a suggestion to the material used. Maybe put some type of padded material on the side bumpers . But over all it's a cute bed.
Our son loves his bed. He sleeps in it all night. The only thing we don't like are the small boards in the bed that help hold the two biggest pieces together. Our son is a wild sleeper and he hits his head on them. We had to cover them with blankets for now until he stops moving around so much.
My son loves the bed! It's cute and it doesn't take up too much space. There are protruding parts on the inside of the bed, so I will have to find a way to pad them for safety. Don't forget to order a mattress if you don't already have one. Our second baby is using the crib now, so we did need to buy one.
Assembly was pretty easy, once you get the concept down. I was a little afraid at first that it wasnt going to be sturdy enough, but once it was 100% complete it was very sturdy. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because the "paint" job had a couple of dings in it. But not bad enough to return. Little man loved it. Completely worth every penny.
This is a decent enough toddler bed. It seems well made and fairly durable. The only negatives that I have about construction are that the sides are 2 pieces that are spliced together under the side numbers (being one piece would've made the bed very strong) and I wish there was a little pad to put over the slats the mattress sits on. It goes together easy and took me about an hour (and that's using glue that is not required or mentioned in the instructions) to completion. The mattress lies on slats that sit on the floor. This has both pros and cons in that the bed is very low (good for falls while getting in and out, but hard on the parents' knees). The matress is shorter than the sides, so they work as a bed rail while sleeping. Overall, happy with the purchase and my 2 year old thinks he is "hot stuff" now that he has a "big boy" bed.
I'm rating 2 stars simply bc I got the bed together but have no clue how to do the middle part to make it a whole bed and not two halves 😅😮💨 looked everywhere for a video or better explanation and couldn't find it so still trying to find out 2 months later….. supposed to be a Christmas gift for my son to have his own bedroom 😭😩 not looking good so far….
