Took a few throws to adjust to them but the difference is undeniable. They have made me a better disk golf player

As Advertised!

Russell Mosier April 10, 2022

I just started my disc golf adventure. After looking at numerous reviews for this set and other manufacturers, I chose Divergent Discs. It is a very reasonably priced set especially considering the quality of the plastic. It feels comparable to other companies premium lines.

Imo better than innova

Gabriel Gomez September 29, 2021

The feel is better for my hands and they are much more stable than innova. I tend to throw more to the left and these helped my throws

Love this disc

Gabriel Gomez May 9, 2021

Love this disc. It helped my game better than Innova mid range shark.

He is excited to use them

Gen December 22, 2023

I only gave 4 stars because he hasn't used them, but I expect no issues from the reviews I read on these. I bought this set for my husband as he is learning how to play disc golf. He liked that the weight is noted on each disc and the weight felt good. He hasn't had a chance to use them yet but he can't wait to play with them.

My husband loved these as a starter set. I got them as a gift and they were well made and he seems to be enjoying them.

Discs are good quality

tydyed September 21, 2021

I bought a few of these sets and was a bit surprised to find all three were exactly the same down to the color (Yellow, red, blue). That's not actually an issue but I suppose I expected differences. The discs are good quality and the plastic is definitely more premium than $17 would get you from many of the larger disc companies. I was also a bit surprised that the weights were heavier than most sets I've seen (the putter is 173-176g and driver 170-172g based on the stickers, midrange is more like 165g). So far I wouldn't say I've used any of the discs more than the Basilisk distance driver, and it flies decently and is turning out to be a good roller for me. I've nailed a couple trees and it's holding up just fine so far. Ultimately I think this is a good set and I definitely recommend for the price!

Solid Beginner Set

Keith Barker September 16, 2021

I've been playing with this set for the past few days, it has been pretty enjoyable. The plastic is an interesting blend; its incredibly grippy, stiff but bendable, and pretty durable. I find that this plastic is quite comfortable in the hand. It definitely inspires confidence. At this price, it is incredibly hard to beat the value of this set! The Basilisk is a great first distance driver, to me it feels a little funky in the hands. But despite that, I am able to get some good throws with the disc. It easily gives a good "S" curve in the air. For most beginners this disc will provide some good distance. It will work well as an all-purpose disc, it can hold hyzer lines and provide some anhyzer lines as well. I don't see this disc staying in the bag as the player progresses past the beginner phase. The Kapre is an excellent midrange. This has the all-purpose tendencies as well, it can hold a lot of lines. It has a good amount of stability to it that it can do hyzer lines, and if you want, you can get it on some anhyzer lines. I found that it generally works its way out of the anhyzer line though. Overall, this is a great midrange. The Nuno is very much in line with the set, it is an all-purpose putter. This disc can do everything that you would want it to do. Making it a great approach disc as well as a good putter. I found myself using this one a lot. It fits comfortably in my hand, and it worked well for my play style. Overall, this is an enjoyable set.

These discs are fun to throw

theKwBarker September 21, 2021

I've been playing with these discs for the past few days, they are fun to throw around. The plastic is an interesting blend; its real grippy, stiff but bendable, and pretty durable. I find that this plastic is comfortable in my hand. It inspires confidence. At this price, it is incredibly hard to beat the value provided in this set. The Basilisk makes for an excellent first distance driver, to me it feels a little odd in the hands. Despite this, I am able to get some good throws with the Basilisk. It gives a good "S" curve in the air. For most beginners this disc will provide some great distance. It will work well as an all-purpose disc, it can hold hyzer lines and provide some reat anhyzer lines as well. I don't see this disc staying in the bag as the player improves and passes the beginner phase. The Kapre is a great midrange. This has the all-purpose tendencies to it, it can hold a lot of different lines. It has a good amount of stability to it that it can do hyzer lines, and if you want, you can get it on some anhyzer lines. I found that it tends to work its way out of the anhyzer lines though. Overall, this is an excellent midrange. The Nuno is very much in line with the set, as it is an all-purpose putter. This disc can do almost everything that you would want it to do. Making it a great approach disc and a great putting disc. I found myself using this one a lot. It fits comfortably in my hand, and it worked well for my play style. Overall, this is a really good disc golf set.
