Dixie Disposable 8.5 Inch Paper Plates, Multi-Color, 50 Count

Paper plates are a staple item at our house. They aren't as toxic as foam plates and don't melt in the microwave like they do, but the trade-off is that they do soak through after a while. The Dixie brand plates are sturdier than the GV brand. I think the price is a little high, but the offbrand plates are too flimsy and the Chin ette plates flake off so we will continue to use Dixie . I would recommend these for a paper plate.

Dixie Disposable Paper Plates, 8.5" can be used year round not just for picnics. I use them when I don't want to wash dishes after meals, when using the microwave, and when using the plates for mixing acrylic paints when painting. I recommend this product.

As strange as it may sound, we use these plates for our cats' daily wet food meals! Our boys are messy little eaters, and these plates do a great job keeping their special treat on the plate instead of all over the floor. They hold up to being pushed around while they eat and even the occasional attempt to chew on them without bending, tearing, or falling apart. I know feeding cats probably isn't the traditional use for Dixie plates, but in our household, the kitties control some of our purchasing decisions! These have definitely earned a permanent spot on our shopping list.

The Dixie Disposable Paper Plates are just the right size 8.5" for sandwiches or snacks. I hate washing just a few dishes so I mostly used disposable paper products.

I prefer Dixie plates. Since Covid, I've gotten into using paper plates to cut down on dishes. These plates are strong and hold hot food well. Rare that I have to use two plates.

These plates weren't terrible, but I probably wouldn't buy them again. They're just not sturdy enough for me, especially when putting a full meal on them. I usually have to put more than one plate underneath so it doesn't bend or feel like the food might fall. They're okay for lighter foods or snacks, but I prefer a stronger paper plate that I can use by itself.

These plates are not microwave safe.They are not heat resistance when heat touches these plates the food tastes like paint you can put a sandwich or light snack on it, but hot food, it's not good. This is something new that's happening because I've never had this situation with these plates. It is not the first time it happens. I wish I could give a better review but I cannot it is safety first. You will have the aftertaste in your mouth for a while

They used to be good plates, but it seems they went then on the paper plate goes now they soak through whatever you put on them wanted to buy them ever again they would need to update their product cause I can easily buy Walmart that are cheaper. Do the same thing that yours are doing now..

Welp Dixie your a failure to the world, and I mean to the cleanliness of my pants as your non sturdy collapsing plates painted my jeans with sauce and side veggies. I did not even over fill the plate, I put a single helping small I should say of noodles with sauce, and a side or veggies with butter. At first the plate was fine, but when I went to sit down the plate folded in a taco shape and dumped everything on the plate onto me defeating the purpose of a plate in the first place. They are nice to look at, but to serve their purpose as a plate they fail. Tried using them again in the microwave, and the plate sucked up all the liquid and went soggy so it was not even removable from the microwave. I will never be buying these again, stick to regular plates and just do the dishes, cause with these your gonna do the dishes and the laundry.
