[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit that I always feel a bit guilty using paper plates when washable plates are of course more eco friendly. Then here comes Dixie with these Eco Smart plates to make me feel a little better when I just don't feel like doing dishes! These plates are just as strong as regular paper plates, and I feel so much better about using them. I still don't use them often, but they do come in handy for days I am too rushed for a bunch of dishes and quick lunches. I stacked one full of fresh warm pita bread the other day and it held up perfectly! I have found they are also perfect for a sandwich and small salad for lunches... just the right size! Many thanks to Dixie for allowing me to have some dish free days guilt free!

Sturdy paper construction they doesn't leak for me. Great for grab and go meals that we don't have time to dishes with. Awesome Eco design too.

However these plates were perfect for loading up hamburgers and potato salads and everything else at our last barbecue.

I thought they would leak through because of the material, but they didn't! They were a little thin, but overall, a nice disposable plate.

They perform well, no water saturation, and plenty sturdy for carrying and outdoor dining. Using recycled materials is a great idea; however, using a plate which is compostable is more ideal when you have the ability to compost. Overall, very happy.
