When talking about quality, there really are no better words that best quality paper plates I've ever eaten from. They are built to last through any meal without bending, breaking, soaking through, and they're resistant to cutting. Case and point, I used a steak knife to cut through the chicken served in photo, then after the meal was over I must admit that I expected a wet spot underneath on my nice cherry wood table. I looked underneath and no wet spot. I turned over the plate and it hadn't even soaked through the area I cut through. Though if the meal is served very hot and wet, they will cave inward or outward from the bottom, but just slightly so. This bend didn't have an effect on durability, the sides stayed very sturdy and the meal never faltered from the plate. Sturdiness and durability do not not make a quality plate for some though. What if you're having a grill party and serving for your boss? You don't want to risk breaking your good dishes but paper plates seem so bland? Not these plates. The design on the plates are lovely and will be sure to impress any guest eating at your house, with the exception of those guest who come to your house expecting fine china. I personally recommend these for birthday parties or holidays, you know, for times when you have multiple guests. After they're finished with the plates, just give them a rinse and drop them in the recycle bin. These plates are thick and would be very bad for the environment if they are just thrown away. After all was said and done, I was very pleased with these plates!

I JUST RECEIVED MY DIXIE ULTRA PLATES. LOVE,LOVE, LOVE!!! I HAVE USED DIXIE PRODUCTS FOR YEARS AND THEY KEEP IMPROVING AN ALREADY GOOD PRODUCT. TO ME YOU GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH. THEY ARE TEN TIMES STRONGER THAN OTHER PLATES AND THE STRONG RIM KEEPS THE FOOD ON THE PLATE---NOT YOU OR THE FLOOR. THEY ALSO DON'T SOAK THROUGH. THE DESIGN IS A BEAUTIFUL FLORAL. THEY ARE CUT RESISTANT AND MICROWAVABLE. YOU CAN USE THESE FOR EVERY DAY OR WHEN YOU HAVE COMPANY. THEY MAKE THE TABLE POP WITH COLOR YET THEY ARE STRONG ENOUGH FOR ANY MEAL. YOU CAN ALSO USE THESE FOR BUSINESS OR COMMERCIAL GET TOGETHERS. I HAVE STARTED USING PAPER PLATES INSTEAD OF WASHABLE DISHES AND REALLY ENJOYING IT. DIXIE PLATES ARE A MUST IN MY CABINETS. I HAVE SPENT ENOUGH TIME IN HOT WATER!!!

These are excellent plates. They are firm and you can carry a full meal with one hand without the plate bending over. They are very durable due to a plastic coating on the front. Usually durability is not a big deal with disposable plates, but it shows how effective the plastic coating can be to keep the plate from disintegrating during a meal. Just as an experiment, I tried using this as a regular plate for one meal a day for a week. So, I used one paper plate just like I would with use a ceramic plate. I put on food of varying degrees of moisture. I microwaved food on the plate. I washed the plate by hand. Since the bottom does not have the plastic coating, I avoided getting the bottom wet. Well, the plate easily lasted a week. Cuts from a knife through the plastic coating will eventually doom the plate to swelling and unsanitary conditions, so it's hardly a replacement for you dinner ware. Oh, by the way, the plates look really nice.

I have used many paper plates over the years but these are just awesome! You can pile food on top & these hold up to the pressure every time. They work with hot or cold foods. The plates have raised edges too so things won't as easily roll off of the plate like some brands. (My daughter actually had a problem with consistently losing her sausage links off of the last paper plates I bought but not with Dixie brand! The spring design is really cute for the season too.

I have used a lot of Dixie Paper products over many years and I have never been disappointed! They are dependable, pretty to look at, withstand plenty of food, versatile, and easy to find. Any time I may have tried other brands, they have always let me down.

This is a good sturdy plate that holds up well to pretty much any use. Like most paper plates, it does have it's weight limit, so don't over load it. I like the pattern, which adds some flair to an occasion, without being over done. The fact that this is also a more "finished" product, in that it has a smooth, somewhat moisture resistant surface, food doesn't cause the plate to become soggy, and thus become weaker during use. I'll bet you could even wash them and possibly reuse them, but that would negate them being disposable, now wouldn't it? At 10" diameter, they are also large enough, without being overly large either, so that you can pile on the goodies at a party or picnic or whatever. I like Dixie products, they hold up well, always have and this one did not disappoint either. I'm sure that you find it works well for you too.

These paper plates are very strong and very pretty. I would not use them for every day, but are wonderful for parties or outdoor barbeques. You can use a knife and cut on them without a problem and they will not break down if you are having guests walking around your home with them. There is a slick surface, but not waxy. I would use them to place food on for a "pot luck" table. They are pretty enough to use to give a food item as a gift to someone. There is nothing I can say that would be negative about them.

There is a lot of stuff I would like to put on a paper plate but think gee that is not going to work the plate is not strong enough for that, well here is one that will hold just about anything you care to use it for and great for convenience. Its just the color to perk up a ordinary table and make it look happy. These plates will handle hot and cold so I am a happy camper.

The plates are strong, nothing soaks through even if you rinse it & use it for dessert ! It never buckled once under the weight of a chicken breast, broccoli n cheese and corn. We all ate dinner on them, rinsed them off, ate dessert on the same plate & rinsed them again & used them in the morning for breakfast and each person had marked their plate and not one plate had weakened ! I definitely recommend these for everyday use or events! I will buy these for the next event. I also enjoyed that the plates are colorful and floral. I would use them for any informal dinner party. I would use them at any holiday dinner and have no fear of people loosing their food from the plate because of construction failure. Buy with confidence !

The plates are better than what I expected them to be. I liked the pattern on the plates. I though it was a pattern was a pattern that could be used all year long. The plate itself is very durable. I used the plates throughout the course of one week. The food items I used on the plates varied from light to heavy. There were no dips, dents, or bends in the plates no matter how much I placed on them. I would purchase them for everyday use.
